  1. Not too many film shooters. Here are a couple from a few weeks back.... Both with my Mamiya 7 and 65mm on Tri-X. 1. 2.
  2. @frostburg Thanks.. I scan them with a Canon 9000F flatbed. I have an Epson R3000 if I want to make prints. Like you, the negs get stored in a binder and I have the digital copies on my computer. The I'll organize the digital copies in Lightroom and only keep the ones I really like. I'm not that close to any darkrooms where I can print them myself unfortunately... 2 more... Mamiya 7 43mm Nikon F3 105mm 2.5
  3. It's split between two cameras... Leica M3 - butter smooth and a pleasure to use. Olympus Om1 - my first camera that originally belonged yo my dad. I still have it.
  4. A few from this past summer. Mamiya 7 w/ 43mm 1. 2. 3.
  5. I like the action, but I think I would have like a tighter shot/crop on the players and crowd. 8/10 My shot... Tree covered in moss (?). Shot on Kodak Portra 400
  6. Beautiful screenshot. I would do it, but I've read that using an ENB may get you soft banned and placed on a cheater server.
  7. Just started playing Rise of the Tomb Raider 1. 2. 3. 4.
  8. 7/10 Very Festive!! What lens was that taken with? I like bokeh!! The ceiling of the Louvre Museum. Going for a graphic type photo....
  9. I agree (somewhat) with the above post. I mainly shoot a Medium Format film camera (Mamiya 7 or Hassy 500CM) and I'll pair it with a fuji X100t. Otherwise, it's my Nikon D610. That said, there are times I like to shoot 35mm film. Alwin is correct saying it's not as efficient or cost effective, but photography for me is not necessarily about cost or efficiency all the time. At least with 35mm you get 24 or 36 shots... With medium Format, you only get either 10 (6x7) or 12 (6x6). Don't bother with 6x4.5, it's not much bigger than 35mm.
  10. I have and use a Nikon F3/F3HP. To be honest, I can't the difference between the regular viewfinder and the High Point Version. I use contact lenses when shooting so, and the HP is mainly for people who use eyeglasses so that's probably why. Nikon is a nice system as all the camera use the same lens mount. There are a ton of manual focus lenses. I'm currently using a 50mm 1.2 and a 105mm, both are great lenses. I've never used the WL finder on the F3. A shot with the F3HP and 50mm 1.2 Good luck on the camera hunt!
  11. 7/10, I wish there was a bit more contrast in the photo. Maybe lighting it differently would make it pop more. Mamiya 7 w/ 43mm Portra 400 - Vancouver Art Gallery (AKA - The VAG...)
  12. I have a Hassy 500CM and a Mamiya 7. The Mamiya is new for me and I've only shot a couple tool s through it. I have the 43mm. I'm liking the 6x7 format so far. Enjoy your camera!
  13. Beautiful Car, Beautiful City, Beautiful Photo. There couple spots that i would edit. There is a sign on the drivers side that I would ty to remove (along with the pole seen in the driver side window); there is the person visible under the spoiler that I would try to edit out. And I would crop out the car that is (barely) visible on the left hand side. 8/10 Nikon F3 50mm 1.2 @ 1.2 The out of focus areas are kinda swirly but I don't mind it too much...
  14. @rmac52 Thanks I have a pretty crappy scanner so that may be the cause of the loss of shadow detail. I like your photo btw.
  15. The photo has nice texture and depth, unfortunately I am not a big fan of the subject. I would maybe try adding more contrast or saturation to make it "pop" a bit more. 6/10 Ektar 100 (shot at 400iso), Nikon f3 50mm 1.2
  16. The only glass I put in front of my lens is either a polarizer or ND filter. Sometimes a red or yellow filter if I'm shooting B&W.
  17. I was just going to recommend an ND and long exposure I was in Santorini, Greece and it was just some random ship sailing into the sunset.... Very cliche, but I had to take the shot.
  18. 9/10 Great shot. I like the square format. I just wish I could melt all the people away in the background. Sunset - Santorini, Greece
  19. I like the photo. I wish that it was either closer or had the flower in the right fully in the photo. I'm viewing this on my phone so.... I think it could use a bit more contrast but that may be my screen. 7/10Im currently travelling, so one from my travels (Samsung Note 4, Instagram edit) ... http://www.daelophotography.com/Personal/Cell-Phone-Shots/i-v3dGrNS/A
  20. Just to keep this going... The last winner picked "Music Photography" as the theme. I guess posting is open until the 24th
  21. Playing around with the mad Max Screen shot editor...
  22. Mad Max I'm wishing most games had an in-game screenshot editor/mechanic. I could spend all day looking for/setting up shots... 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
