  1. I planned to buy everything Monday, I really appreciate you posting that link to the NewEgg catalog. You just saved me some money for better parts. Im going to have to build an excel spreadsheet and see how much I will save so I know what extra goodies I can add on
  2. Whats the main difference in the motherboard you suggested?
  3. I will be upgrading to a better monitor after I get the system and set it all up. Definitely some ASUS 144mhz.
  4. I was just wondering everyone's opinion on my build. Basically I have a $1400 limit. So I did some searching and reading everything there is to read for beginners online. I do Medium gaming on AAA games preferable 1080p on High settings. Will this preform well enough for me? 5. No. I actually started this when I was a teenager and planned to go to college for it but I join the Army instead. Now that I am out I plan to start working on my degree. Everything from C#, Ruby, Python, T-SQL, and many more have been self taught.
  6. I create applications used for major law offices to use on a daily basis to keep track of client and staff. I also create applications for my clients to use in their databases to manage/view all of their data with 100% customization on what they need.. Pretty much whatever they ask for I deliver (If Possible). I also create mobile applications as well with a little RaspberryPi coding on the side. I think both builds above leaned towards the gamer inside.
  7. Sweet. Thats all I needed to know. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me better understand and decide on what I need.
  8. Thanks for this. I will definitely be looking into this and adjusting parts as needed.
  9. Will this build with the 1600 and 1080 get me some decent FPS while gaming on high settings?

  12. What about the 1600x with the Asus - STRIX X370-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard
  13. The only thing that will be installed on the SSD is the games. I have a 1TB HDD that I have all my work on. I also use portable versions of most of my applications from my 5tb external. Games being Battlefield, PUBG, and CoD.
  14. Forgot to mention I had a 240gb SSD already. Thanks for mentioning that. I added it to the post.
