ram Cheapest way to 64 or 128GB RAM?
ADHDHackers replied to xchaotic's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I would say they support 32-64 GB ram. My motherboard is an average priced consumer product supporting 64gb ram. -
do you pay for an antivirus and firewal program ?
ADHDHackers replied to maria2244's topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Bit Defender is the most reliable on my end. I have used MalwareBytes, Avast, and Norton. Norton is terrible and I will never give it a second chance. Avast is very good along with MalwareBytes. If you are just trying to block against small little viruses you might encounter, these are great options. Bit Defender is for me because I test all sorts of stuff on my computer. Plus the fact that I deal with rats a lot. I would recommend switching to MalwareBytes or Avast for you. If you need that extra boost of security, continue paying for Bit Defender. -

Have you ever thought of trying this off the cloud? Too expensive I know. I wouldn't think that you need 64-128 gb of ram. Most OS do not use more than 2gb. I might not understand but can you explain what you mean by "VM Cluster Testing"? -
Screw Dyslexia! XD.

Core 500 mini build (Need a better name)
ADHDHackers replied to Captain_France's topic in Build Logs
You said Fractal Design case would win against Cooler Master. Cooler Master does have a nice rep for heatsinks and cooling solutions. If you were getting a small case, just like the Core 500, Cooler Master Elite 130 is very nice and compact also. You still have a great case and I wish you best of luck in this build. I will keep in mind however that people prefer Fractal Design when building computers in the future. Thank you for that! Good luck! -

My friend had a small heatsink on an AMD FX 6300 and lets just say he played games and reached into the 60C zone. I see now why water cooling would be a nice alternative. I just don't really trust anything that has to do with water near my computer. I get paranoid. Also, yes, i have built computers with water cooling and its annoying. -

This is DVI to HDMI. You plug your DVI into GPU and HDMI port into your monitor.
-
DVI is the highest resolution compared to these other outputs. I would rather use all DVI (for two monitors) than any other output knowing DVI is highest quality.

I installed Hackintosh it broke i cant boot into Hac

By the way, you do not need to format the hard drive into fat 32. It has a size limitation of 64 GB and you cannot create files larger than 4 GB on it. NTFS is always the better choice. -
Yup thats it. I would choose the other one because I have prime.

By the way, I am not smashing on CPU Liquid Coolers, I am just not a big fan. Great build however! -

The case is a very bad choice. I bought this when building a computer for a guy I went to school with. Heard reports of overheating, cramped and hard to install parts, and its way too much money for the size that it is. I like things big and spacious but thats just me. If you have time too, Cooler Master case and heatsinks are the best. Never had a prob. Now I can call my computer The Cooler Master 8320. (Take name of Heatsink or PSU or what ever sounds nice, and put ur CPU number at end or name.) Nice name would be Fractal Design Core 500. -
Thats a Display Port to HDMI... He has a DVI port.
