  1. Dear all, I was wondering could you recommend the best 27" monitor for a budget of $260. Obviously there is a lot to compromise for this price and I'm coming from a 34" Ultrawide so I understand that the quality might go down, but what is the best out there in this budget range? I hope you guys would be able to help out and I appreciate it! Thank you in advance!
  2. Hello! So, I'm looking to get another monitor alongside my current 24'' Ilyama prolite monitor. I was looking for a curved one, and preferable something under the $300. Would someone would be able to recommend something for this price and something qualitative? Thank you in advance!
  3. Right so it is possible to change the CPU without a big hassle
  4. Hello, I've got a question. I currently have a PC with an I3-6100 3,70GHz with the 1151 socket. I was wondering if I can upgrade this CPU to something with a 1151 socket. For example a better I5 processor or even I7. If this is possible what would be the steps required? Thank you in advance
  5. Do you know anything about the Asus ZenBook? I looked at it and it looks promising.
  6. So I can also just get a laptop with I7-8550 instead of I7-8750 and I will not notice a major difference?
  7. Does it actually make a huge difference if I have a I7 quad core and a hexacore?
  8. Is the Huawei Matebook X Pro available in the Netherlands? I check the Dell XPS 15 9570 16GB edition and thats a monster, but iwas wondering if there is any alternative for it.
  9. Hello everyone, I need some help choosing a laptop. I would prefer something between 14" to 15.6", with a I7 8th gen processor and preferably 16GB RAM. I would want it to be portable and a good daily driver for all tasks ranging from documents to video editing to CAD design. My budget is around 1000-1800 euros. I hope you can help me out. Thanks
  10. @peej @DrMacintosh By the way, do you recommend the 8GB or 16 GB RAM? Or would 8GB be enough
  11. Oh okay, yea I will look into that ascwell. Do you and @peej have any recommendation on which eGPU would do the job ?
  12. Yes seems to me that the Mac would be the better option for me then especially like @peej said; I can use features from Windows 10 on the bootcamp.
  13. Alright, yes then getting the bigger SSD makes life easier. But what exactly is that eGPU and you think the 13 inch wont be able to handle CAD?
  14. Hello, So, I'm going to university in about 2 months as an engineering student. I looked around for laptops and I found that the Dell XPS 13 and 15 are both really good laptops. However, recently I saw the new 13 inch Macbooks which have a 2.7 ghz I7-8 generation processor which has turbo boost to 4.5 ghz. I know that Mac's have Bootcamp so I can put Windows on it and carry out the same tasks as I would on a windows laptop. I was wondering if the Mac is then better and would actually be worth getting if it has these specs and can run both OS on one machine. By the way, I have a large budget so that's not a restriction. I hope someone could recommend me something and give their thought on this. Thank you in advance
  15. Hello, So recently I purchased a new HDD with which I'm going to replace my current one. I have some programmes which I have installed on the old HDD which were bought and activated years ago. I was wondering if there is a way of moving the software from the old HDD to the new HDD without having to activate them again on the new HDD. I hope someone could help me out. Thank you
