  1. I see. If so then I could stick with the Vapor BIOS instead of going to the Toxic one. Its just got a little confused beacuse the previous owner said he didint tinker around with the card's BIOS. So that's why im up and about asking.
  2. It does get the job done and I guess the only difference are the clocks. On VBE7, the current BIOS has a 208 TDP and the Toxic BIOS has 180 TDP. Pretty much that is all the difference to it. Just curious me.
  3. I recently bought a used R9 280X Toxic for about $100 at a garage sale. Paired it with a Ryzen 5 1600 for my rig I use in university. Wanted to flash the BIOS, but upon opening GPU-Z, I saw that it was flashed with a Vapor X 280X BIOS. I tried flashing compatible 280X (Hynix) BIOS but all I got was BSOD upon landing on the start screen. So, I flashed back to the BIOS that came with it and everything works as it was. I'm pretty confused. Is this supposed to happen? Is it possible for me to flash to the Toxic BIOS without the BSOD? 4. As for the CPU, is there any difference in between the Intel 4th Gen and the 6th Gen other than the TDP and architecture?
  5. The difference in price is about MYR 91. But is it true that the Kingston SSDs are more problem prone?
  6. Thanks for the tip. Would the Samsung 850 Evo Series be a good choice?
  7. Really sorry ahaha. New to this. But I've placed the link to pcpartpicker.com instead.
  8. Hey guys, Im planning on building up from my current PC, so I got this drafted out. So far I've purchased the PSU and the GPU. My budget is $500 and since I'm in Malaysia, converted, it becomes MYR2000. I have no plans to overclock. I am running on Windows 10 with a single display. I can't really decide on which MOBO and processor to go with. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jDfPmG
