I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard and when i went to go to boot the machine it started up then immediately shut down. Now it wont boot and the postcode is reading as 4F which according to the manual is caused by 'DXE IPL is started'. After some googling it seems this is caused by a CMOS problem. My motherboard has a 'Clear CMOS' button. I tried this when powered on and when powered off and I still got the 4F code. I then tried removing the CMOS battery, waited 30 seconds, replaced it, tried to boot and im still getting the code. At this point I am at a loss. Any ideas? I read in another thread on another site that this could be caused by a corrupted bios.Specs: ASrock Z77 Extreme 4 mobo, I5-3450 cpu, Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB gpu, Coolmax ZU-800B psu, and elipta ram from an old HP desptop
