  1. Hey yall, last piece im trying to decide on for my new build Going to be using a 14900k and Z790 E-Gaming Wifi and I wanna overclock the hell out of the cpu. Right now in my current build I've been using a whatever gen h150i and to be honest, i dont like icue, but me not liking a software wont hinder that if the performance is better. Elite is $249 and the H150i is $279 and I'll be not using whatever fans come with each radiator as I have my own.
  2. Not when it comes to my pc I ended up finding a kit that works with my Mobo/CPU, gunna go with the CL 18 3600 kit I think
  3. there is a 3600 CL16 Corsair kit thats $115, but it doesnt say AMD optimized like the CL18 does, is there a way I can check if it will work?
  4. Hello everyone, I hope this question is okay to be asked with I'm sure how much it is asked. I'm looking at getting this RAM kit to replace my old one, which is a 4-5 year old (i'm not sure) 1st gen Vengeance LED kit. My current kit is 16-17-17-35 CL16 3000mhz and I just want to upgrade because everything else is brand new in my system besides my RAM, which 3 of the kits have all dead LED's and it just looks, bad. I know there are better kits for better money, but I really just want to stick with Corsair. Will I notice a huge difference in gaming/browsing when going from CL16 3000 to CL18 3600? Thank you! Edit: there is also 3200mhz CL16 that is $13 cheaper than the kit I listed. Edit #2: My current system is a 3600x on a B450 Tomahawk Max. Edit #3: found this kit too but not sure it supports my system?
  5. I just came from a 750D so I was spoiled with 9 fans, just having to get used to it is all lol
  6. I dont plan on having this stock cooler by the end of the month, no matter if i throw on an air or aio
  7. I might just try and send it back, I dont wanna end up breaking anything, i just want off this stock cooler and dont wanna give up a top fan to use this
  8. i figured that would probably be my underlying problem, just kinda frustrated and confused, because i've never had a case this small lol
  9. Thats what I'm trying to do.I currently have a 120 in the back, 2 140s up top, and im trying to put the h115i in the front, but the top fan closest to the power button is getting in the way and i cant slide the radiator all the way in to mount it and i dont wanna damage anything. Should I try taking off my top fans and installing this first and then put the fans back in?
  10. I have NO idea what I'm doing wrong, or if the Meshify C I got was shrunk or something, but I for the life of me can not get this H115i to fit. I have 2 140mm fans up top, and when I try to install this, the front top fan gets in the way of where the radiator tubes are. Is there some trick to get this to fit?
  11. I keep hearing conflicting reports when doing all my research like this board is bad get this one but this one is bad too but you’ll save money im just looking for the best neutral color board for around $150 i don’t mind spending a little extra to avoid color if it means doing so (such as $120 for the X470 Gaming Max)
  12. No difference at all between the 3600 and 3600x? would the Tomahawk be able to plug and play a 4000 series when they come out or do we not know yet?
  13. I didn't even have a coupon or anything, it just showed up at $69 lol Everything else looks golden though for a long time?
  14. Idk what happened, but I ended up getting that 970 for $69 on Amazon lol It's the one part out of the things I need that I've actually bought lol
  15. Hey y'all, building my first PC since 2016 or something like that, whenever the 6600K came out lol, and decided to go Ryzen this time around. All I do is bum around on Chrome and play Guild Wars and WoW, and this is what I came up with with some minor help from r/buildapc discord. 16. That’s what I thought too, I just wanted confirmation, thanks! now time to find one lol
  17. Hello everyone. I am making the switch to Ryzen and am reusing my h110i gt that I have been using for the past few years since I built my pc. It has no problems whatsoever except for the fact it didn’t come with an AM4 bracket. Now my dilemma is I have no idea which bracket I should be looking for. I’ve found two but I’m not sure which is the one I’ll need. It will be going on a B450 Tomahawk Max with a 3600 The two I’ve found are: SKU CW-8960046 SKU CW-8960011 Id much rather use this instead of the stock wraith cooler it comes with or not spend $150 that I don’t have to on another Corsair cooler Thanks for helping!
  18. I didnt want this to be a debate about what parts he has or doesnt have lol he picked out what he wanted, and we said "sure" only thing we missed was a PSU edit: went ahead and switched out for the 750w G2, didn't realize they were better, thank you for the help
  19. he has no plans of upgrading/sli'ing, he hasnt even touched his last pc we built for him 4 years ago, and now its time to build him a new one.
  20. Building a new pc for my brother. 9600k, z390-a, h150i pro cooler, 2070 black edition pcpartpicker says 339w, which im assuming is max load? So is it safe to safe 550w will be enough? or should I spring for more and get him the 750w? 550w is $83 on Amazon, and the 750w is $89
  21. Awesome, thanks I'm on newegg right now. Might spend the $100 saved on fans on a new SSD or something.
  22. So full AF is fine? I'll be moving my 110i to an Intake in the Meshify, dunno if that changes anything. Right now it's in a push/pull on the top of my 750d
  23. Should I grab 2 SP's for my 110i? I've just been using Af's solely since I built this pc 18 months ago
