  1. I jumped off my G710+ for a K65 RGB with mx Brown like a month ago and I'm in love with this keyboard, so if you're only looking for the RGB lighting just upgrade ^^
  2. Yea that's my initial thought as well, I'll probably have to get my lazy ass under the table and do a cable check inside the system sooner or later ^^
  3. I have not updated the BIOS, I don't do that unless it's absolutely necessary and since the system worked fine before I moved the computer (it even worked fine when I moved it to the kitchen) I did not see a reason to do so. As for the BIOS reset, MSI actually have an automatic reset (boy did that one suprise me) that happened on first boot after I changed the CPU, but after that I haven't really thought about it.
  4. Alright, so as the title says my computer (on every startup) turns itself off right before post, is off for a couple of seconds and then turns back on automatically and it posts fine. Have had this problem for a couple of weeks now and it started just after I had moved my computer back to it's regular location (from kitchen back to the living room). I haven't really done any cable checks or searched for a possible error in the system since it haven't really been much of a nuisance, but it still had me thinking what the actual source of the problem could be. I did recently (read 1½ month -isch) change my CPU to a FX-8350 running on a MSI 970 gaming. Now I know that the 970 chipset was not intentionally supposed to run the FX-8350 chip due to it's somewhat heavy TDP (especially under load) but I read up on it and from the test report from MSI (https://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR19_3193.pdf) I got to the conclusion that the 970 Gaming do support the FX-8350. I don't have any problem with the combination in general, haven't had a single BSOD after the change even under load. So I'm a little stoked to why I'm having this problem. It might just be as simple as bad connectivity from the PSU but it seems unlikely since the system boots up just fine the second time. My rig: AMD Fx-8350 MSI 970 Gaming 4x4GB Ballistix Sport 1600MHz Asus GeForce GTX760 2GB EVGA SuperNova 650G 2x SSD 3x HDD Any feedback is welcomed, I'm mostly interested in your experience of similiar problems and how you got around to fixing it.
  5. Thinking about OCing my Phenom II x6 1090t, but I have never OCd before which makes me worried.. Haelp!
