Honestly with the new Zen chips coming from AMD being announced very soon i'd consider waiting for that to come out, but like mikat said i'd recommend you get the i3-6100 (if you'd rather not wait) because of a very good upgrade path. The FX series is getting a bit old (hence Zen coming in).

I'm considering the A8-7670K for a low-profile HTPC / Light gaming rig. I've looked for reviews online and all of them are either in another language, or don't show OC performance. If anyone has the 7670K and would be willing to share their results with overclocking and its game performance for a good idea of what I can expect from it, that'd be great, Thanks!
