  1. the price difference isn´t that much like 20-30 euros i don´t know that much about the different ssd´s so i just stuck with the samsung because i knew it was pretty good ^^
  2. @DreamcastFan öhm the ssd has 250gb
  3. @Mr.Meerkat Oh lol that typo didn´t notice i pretty much thought that too ^^ so probably number 2 it will be, what other ssd would you recommend? or go for a m.2? if yes which one? also thank you very much ^.^
  4. @Mr.Meerkat The 470 (costum version) is around 220 euros, the 480 (lol a costum version just came out here) is around 320 for the costum versions and 280 for the retail edition and the 1060 are around 300 +/- 20
  5. and should he rather go for the i5-4460 or i5-6500?
  6. Why not the Psu thats currently in? (just asking i haven´t done too many builds, so would be n1 to know for the future ^.^)
  7. @Rodniz The problem with the 480 is where i life at, there are no costum versions available atm and the 1060 costs nearly the same here
  8. So a friend of mine wants to have a new pc (primarily for gaming) and asked me to come up with a build for him. So i made a few on pcpart picker (they are all pretty similar) and i just want to know what you guys think about the builds, some opinions what you would take and maybe suggestions for improvement. The build he wanted to take first when i showed them to him was number 2. The budget for the pc was around 850 (not including the display which is on the list too). https://de.pcpartpicker.com/user/ThornHD/saved/#view=7qfMnQ Some games he plays: Overwatch, LoL, Witcher 3,
  9. So my budget would be around 3400 euros (i don´t have to spend all of it, i mean i could ,but i could also wait for more because i will start an apprenticeship in september). I will use it for gaming(Overwatch, Hearhstone, Dark Souls, Assasins Creed, MMorpgs, sc2, LoL, Far Cry, Doom, Final Fantasy,.......), watching movies, anime, youtube videos, listening to musik, general Internet stuff. I also still need Speakers so if somebody could give me an advice on that it would be really n1 (2.1 or 5.1? aaaargh), also i am thinking about a secondary monitor (1080p,24") which one would be good for that purpose (also for watching 1080p content). So i put something together on pcpartpicker : http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/hvDzyf . Is it completely overkill or should i rather go for a cheaper 1080p build? ._." What do you guys think about the build? Should i rather go for the i7-6700k? Is the Cpu cooler ok or should i go for a watercooler? is the 1080 overkill and should i rather go for a 1070? What about the Power supply? I was also considering a 1440p 21:9 first, but they are really expensive here especially if you want a high refresh rate and i couldn´t even really use the monitor for most movies and series because most of them are 1080p and animes are pretty much always 16:9 . Sorry for so much text, and thanks for everybody .
  10. Scaling is a problem that i have with my Laptop too but i am not really bothered too much with it. I also though to rather go with a 1440p as a primary and a 1080 as a secondary, actually i was thinking about a monitor setup pretty close to your setup on paper, but right now i will probably still wait for the new gpu´s.
  11. i would have gotten the 980ti for 500 euros which is really n1 because normally they are around 700 but i rather wanted help for the monitor not to start a discusion about future gpus who will be able to beat the 980ti for half the price on their release date nobody sure knows about and because sure they will be so cheap on their release with this amount of gpu power but k i can wait ^^
  12. Hi, I am about to build my first Pc, currently i have a gaming Laptop but its getting pretty old now and a Laptop is pretty meh for gaming. My Specs will be: So because I currently have a Laptop, i also need a new Monitor for my Rig. I looked around for so long but i just have no idea which one i should take. I am thinking about either a 1440p 144hz 27 inch Ips Monitor or a 4k Monitor. I was also considering an Ultrawide Screen 1440p but they are so expensive and i heard many games can´t even be displayed at a 21:9 ratio. I would really appreciate any help to decide and Monitor suggestions. Personally i was thinking about the Asus PG279Q, but i have heard so many stories about really bad Backlight bleeding and dead Pixels.
