I needed to reapply thermal paste as when I did it a couple of months ago I was a bit overzealous. Turned machine on after and everything was fine, however, I noticed my CPU fans weren't able to be controlled by CUE software, realised I'd forgot to plug back in the micro-usb to the heat sink. When I did that and turned everything back on I now get no output to my screens. I've tried holding the power down for 30 seconds, unplugged everything but display port/HDMI, removed micro-usb, removed CMOS battery, but no avail. Thanks for any advise. Using one stick of RAM works, any idea why? 3 of the 4 sticks are working.
