  1. I think that will vary greatly, depending on how much charge they put in it from the factory and how long it sat in storage
  2. Weve got a NAS at home (QNAP TS-431X) and I already store all my photography stuff on there, as It's set up with 2 4TB WD drives, while one always replicates the other, so It's basically our vault. Now I'm planning to back up my moms business data, but she uses her laptop for that, so storing exclusively on the NAS is out as she would need to use data when on the go. I was thinking of a system, which would automatically back up the files in specific folders, once she is at home and connected to Wifi, however, I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I already installed HBS 3 on the NAS but I just can't seem to find a function which would do what I want. Has anyone got any suggestions?
  3. Probably yeah, I heard that the HD60S has no delay, maybe you could get one used, which should be about half price of the Camlink 4K EDIT: nevermind they're the same price...
  4. I have the Camlink 4k myself and use it with my a6500, it works really well and theres no delay, so if you have the money it's a good buy. Ive used a Elgato HD60 before, which obviously only did HD, but it also had a delay of about 1 sec, which may be unbeneficial if youre trying to use it as a webcam. Also: You should have about 3 batteries or a dummy battery with a power input if you plan on using it for a long time at once, as when one battery runs out the second one won't be charged again, at least from my experience
  5. CPUs only come in their plastic try when you get them in a cardbord box so it should be fine. Not sure what the difference between the bags is but I believe a anti static bag will be enough, as manufacturers ship their motherboards in them. Maybe you still have the bag your motherboard came in, that would be perfect.
  6. Yes it is, but the Amp has a voltage dependent power output, so it will only output it's full 200W at 24V even if you were to give it 12V 15A it wouldn't draw over 50W
  7. I would offer them seperately, as most people either look for complete systems or individual components, maybe put into the description that you would be willing to do a package deal for people that may want it. If you sell it as whole, I would remove the cooler for shipping, if its not a stock cooler and sticks out a bit. For individual shipping, putting the Mobo into a anti static Bag and putting bubble wrap around it should be enough, or even better use the original box if you still have it. For CPU I'd say out it in it's plastic tray and then put that tray into a bubble wrap envelope.
  8. Very good idea, thank you. That would probably be better and safer
  9. Also what I'm wondering, will it be fine when 24V is going in to have it still attached to the 24V side of the converter even though it would be backwards then or should I add a Diode? Furthermore, do you think the GND will be able to pass through the converter when it's not operating?
  10. Im currently building a BT speaker and the amplifier I am using needs 24V for full power. At home I am running it from a 24V 6.5A Power Supply but I also want to be able to power it from my cars 12V socket, but then the amp would only make 1/4 of its output, which is why I want to wire in a 12V/24V Switch and a converter, to get 24V even when 12V is plugged in. Question now is, would wiring it this way work I dont want to build a fire hazard so I thought I'd ask.
  11. Im still there no problem. HyperX replaced mine and let me keep the broken one. For that one I just bought a 4-pin AUX Cable and it's now working fine again, just make sure you solder the wires in the right way and don't forget to tie a knot into the cable inside the headphones, otherwise the tiny wires will rip off the solder pads when you put strain on the cable.
  12. I have owned my G7 for 2 years now, but only have the 14-140mm Kit Lens. While its really versatile, being a massive zoom lens, its not too crisp. Now im looking to buy something new, but I dont have too much money (max 250€), I am still undecided about what exact lens to get, so I thought i'll aks here if anybody hab some suggestions for a sharp prime for MFT that isn't too expensive. PS: Already own a Helios 44-2, but thats a 116mm with my crop so ?
  13. Well at 4,9GHz (congratulations on that), your CPU should be fine then. The RAM should only be a little more, maybe 16 or even 32GB, if that's DDR3 or DDR4 doesn't really matter. However, I'd go with DDR3 so you won't have to upgrade the whole thing.
  14. Although very unlikely, maybe your PSU died, so I'd check that. Also, sweet rig!
