~$450 for a new build, probably around existing 1050 TI

Not ASAP, just looking for a good point to start from and this thread has given me plenty. Slow work day today -

Thanks everyone, currently looking at the Ryzen variants at the moment. Seems like I should wait on optimization fixes on Treyarch's end before I build around Blops 4 though these look great as a general upgrade. For reference, currently rocking an Athlon II x4 740 with 8gb DDR3 ram which is barely creaking along in a lot of my games. I don't want to know how much this is bottlenecking me but its super tangible. -

I mainly play esports games like League and OW. Path of Exile and some RTS's too, but I can play them fine with my current setup. -

Sure, maybe $150 wiggle room? -

120 gb 2.5 ssd but it's a boot drive atm. This can definitely change with getting another or booting through hard drive. -

It is a 2.5 120g boot drive -
Happy Friday guys, I'm looking to build something around my 1050 ti as it and my SSD are the only components that are relatively recent. I don't play anything insane, just looking to get good framerates in Blops 4 in 1080p as it's the most demanding game I play consistently atm. Right now my CPU is heavily bottlenecking most games I play, and I'm not against value cases either.

Hey LTT Forums! Around a year or so ago I posted regarding upgrading from my 7770, but never got around to actually doing so. I now have plans to upgrade my entire computer. The computer I'm currently using is still the same: "I've had my 7770 since 2013, and I'm looking for an upgrade. The case I'm currently using is a BitFenix Prodigy, and I have a Athlon X4 750K with 8 gigs of ram and a 430 watt PSU. I game on a single 1080p 60hz monitor which I am very satisfied with, but use 2 monitors for my every-day use." I mostly play esports titles like Overwatch and Legend Leeeg. I also have on-and-off obsessions with modding Bethesda games. Skyrim still runs fairly well, but Fallout 4 poops the bed as you could imagine. Path of Exile is hit-or-miss, as I can get smooth 60fps at random moments, but experience a crapton of stuttering at seemingly random intervals. In terms of day-to-day usage, I do as much as the typical applied math major would do: MatLab, RStudio being the two biggest. The current plan of attack is as follows: PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3wBnhq Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3wBnhq/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock - AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($77.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($59.88 @ OutletPC) Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ACX 2.0 Video Card ($122.76 @ Jet) Total: $449.51 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-05-24 18:57 EDT-0400 Any input will be greatly appreciated EDIT: Budget should be ~500$ USD. Ah, wasn't aware that DDR3 wouldn't be compatible. And yeah, I wanted to do a Ryzen build but I love my Prodigy case too much

I am running 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance ddr3, would upgrading to ddr4 memory really see any real-world performance increases? Thanks for the reply Edit: Don't need to upgrade PS, checked the LTTF "how much wattage" post.
