  1. Hi guys, I bought a 1050ti FTW some month ago and I`m courious about a couple things: My card is reaching an overclock on the core of 1936Mhz. Is that a lot? Does anyone have the same card to tell me if his card reaches the same values? It also reaches +1000Mhz on the memory, reaching 4500Mhz. Am I geting the performance I payed for? I mean, the FTW series should be the top from EVGA (after Kingpin series of course, but that is next level). What I mean is,is my card really better that a reference 1050ti? Does anyone have one that can relate how far should a reference 1050ti go? Just curious about that guys, waiting for the answers.
  2. I actually have in mind the EVGA Supernova 650W or 750W,because I don't really care about the wattage as long as is enough, but more for the connectors, for both CPUs and a future graphics card I'll buy.So by now I have that one in mind but it doesn't hurt anyone to be looking for a cheaper one
  3. Please just send me links with new products so I can see better the specifications in pages like amazon. After seeing the prize of a brand new PSU I'll think about buying it new or from eBay
  4. I want to buy a new PSU(need, not want), but I don't have enough money to be wasting it. My computer is the same that Linus built in the video of the cheap server computer.I'll list the specifications anyway: Motherboard:Dell cs24-sc Processors:2xIntel Xeon L5420 RAM:4x4GB GPU:ATI Radeon HD 3450(an old one) Drives:Hitachi 500GB 7200 rpm I'm actually using the PSU from my old computer which has 250W,and I managed to connect the fans to one Molex connector. Also I can only use one CPU because it only has one 4pin CPU connector,so basically I need(the cheapest possible)a new PSU which can manage both processors and also with some 6 and 8 pin connector for a future graphics card I may buy, something like an 750ti very overclockeable.
  5. I just thought "if USB can do it it may be possible via Ethernet" XD.Anyway thanks for the help to let me know all that. Now I know how crazy I am XD.
  6. Not talking about the Linus Media Group.I meant the people like you in the forum. Also, with old computer I'm talking about a computer for home purposes around 2008 or something like that. With ddr2 and gigabit Ethernet.Didn't have in mind to use USB 2 for massive data transfer like that. With gigabit you also have a good latency bit still a problem because CPU and GPU should communicate almost instantaneously.
  7. I know it's not possible to do it,but there's the challenge XD. I know that a two core CPU or even four or more has nothing to do against CUDA for example. Also some ddr3 or ddr2 has nothing to do against almos any gddr memory but I still trust it could make something. The thing is that I have 16 GB of ram in my PC and a 4 core xeon but my gpu is an ATI Radeon HD 3450.... With a PC like that you would even believe in fairies to get some better gpu XD.
  8. You could simply change that overpowered gpu for the normal one or even try an sly with 960's or something like that.I'm not really sure if overwatch needs all that horsepower, but an 980ti FTW is enough for almost any game. You could always set the settings a little bit lower.
  9. Ok so here's the thing.I'm new in the forum so I don't really know if this is gonna work or how to do it but I would like the community to support it if they really think this is a good idea. My idea is the following:I've been looking in many forums and googling and didn't find any answer,is it possible to turn an old pc into an external graphics card? I know that a CPU and the normal RAM can't really work as fast as a GPU,but for those like me who don't have a modern graphics card but have two old PC's I think it could work. Also you could use a modern desktop PC as an external graphics card to your laptop(I'm not really sure if this one is a good idea but it could be useful for some people). Well,so I would like that you tell me if you know any way to do it(some Linux OS or something)and if you would like that something like that exist.I await for some support. Also sorry for my english if I said something wrong
