  1. Hi, I installed Adobe Photoshop CS6 on my PC, but because it's so small I have to force my eyes in order to read or to find icons. Is there a way to change the program's size/scale alone?
  2. I tinkered with my profile for a bit and at the moment only my friends (except acquaintances) get the posts I'm tagged in on their newsfeed and can check my friends list among other things. When I post something, I can choose who sees it. So, from my own profile page, I clicked the three dots besides the "Activity Log" window and then chose "Timeline Settings". I also clicked on the "Friends" window and then on the pencil in the middle right to edit privacy. From here, I guess I achieve what I want by adding the people I don't want to share with as acquaintances. Thanks for the replies, I guess now I should unfollow my acquaintances one by one. If what I did isn't enough, I'll follow the second suggestion for custom lists.
  3. Hi, I want to know how I can avoid that my posts appear on my acquaintances feeds, and how I can avoid their posts on my feed. I'd like to divide my friends list between classmates whom I must contact for group projects, and personal friends in whose content I'm interested.
  4. Hello, I need your help on something. I'm moving in a few weeks, and one of the possible houses I'm moving to doesn't have WiFi access access to internet of any kind. I know I can have a wireless hotspot from my smartphone, but I'd like to know the pros and cons of that and if there are any other alternatives.
  5. I can't help you with how to wake up in the morning, but I'd like to reiterate that waking up at the same hour every morning is essential to have a good sleeping habit. I think that putting the alarm out of grasp is a good idea, because you need to get out of bed to shut it down. I developed some habits to help me fall asleep; there are still some nights I lie down with eyes closed and can't sleep, but I've been able to reduce them drastically and waking up at the same hour every morning is really helpful. I usually go to bed around midnight and read a book, I've found that turning off all the electronics is essential to get sleepy. Another helpful thing is to exercise daily, I mostly have a walk through town and sometimes I opt for jogging instead. I have more trouble falling asleep in days I don't have any physical activity. I also only take camomile tea (beware of the type of tea you have at night), milk or yoghurt with two biscuits around one or two hours before going to bed; to me it's soothing, but eating too much defeats the purpose. These habits help me, my recommendation is for you to try them at first and then adjust them to your own reasonable needs and preferences.
  6. In the morning there's nothing like coffee as dark as a moonless night.
  7. I contacted the store in which I bought the smartphone and they advised me to send it/take it to be fixed. I took it to their nearest physical store; according to them, the problem is a faulty charger. They'll send it to Microsoft and I'll get a new one in an estimated three weeks. I'll pass by once the problem has been fixed to "close the thread".
  8. A prison director was bored on a hot summer day, so he decided to have a little fun with the inmates. He ordered some of them to the top of a wall and asked several of them to get down in the shape he wanted. He ordered the first to go down as a square, he ordered the second to go down as a square, he ordered the third to go down as a square, and so on. With this event, the prison director proved he doesn't understand the gameplay concept of Lumines.
  9. A console is way more practical to play video games than a PC for a regular consumer, because it simply needs to be plugged in and the person can play without hurdles. Playing on consoles means sacrificing the number of video games available and their technical performance, but I don't think it's unreasonable or ignorant to play on them because different people have different priorities.
  10. Do you want to use the console during military service, or are you just looking for something to play before December?
  11. Some things should be censored, and websites aren't still as judged by the contents they provide as much as newspapers or other sorts of media. A simple example is revenge porn; I don't know the specifics, but I think it's wrong that it's easier to post someone else's naked body without permission than the own person deleting it on his/her own will. Hate speech isn't sharing an opinion, it's insulting someone or saying things in a way that grows the potential of violence and discrimination against a person or a group of people. I don't see wrong in writing "Hitler was right about racial profiling and living space, because so and so...", but I see wrong when a page continually tries to purposefully harm someone. I also think online threats aren't something we should simply accept as a reality of life; they're wrong and harmful. People should learn how to properly share their ideas and how to accept differing points of view.
  12. If you like Game of Thrones you might also enjoy The Last Kingdom, although it isn't as intimate in sexual scenes nor does it have all of that fantasy, at least in the first season. However, I don't think it has the same quality.
  13. I have Windows 10. How can I remove the recycle bin?
  14. I think fireguns should be restricted to those who have a specific professional purpose to use them. A firegun user should have an extensive background check, psychological tests, gun training and skill testing, as well as a professional licence. These would be done periodically, and revoked if any criminal or psychological situation arose, as long as it would be justified. I don't know what implications that would have regarding laws of ownership, or how that could be legally twisted.
  15. I found the "I Side With" quiz on the political alignment topic; it seems I side mainly with the Democratic Party and the Green Party candidates. I don't know much about most political issues, nor do I know anything about the US domestic living, so I just answered what it seemed right at the moment. I didn't know there were other political parties in the race, the media doesn't seem to give them any breathing space.
