  1. Uugh if i recall, all the big makers of aoi uses asatech pumps dont they? Meaning they are all the same.
  2. Hands down x27 thats the limit the industry can push right now so of course the bleeding edge.
  3. AOI's usually last somewhere between 2-3 years before issues start rising - noise, breakage, leak and etc. Air never breaks, except for the fans which noctua got you covered for 6 years in warranty. Temp wise they are about the same, 1-2c difference but the noctua is way quieter than the AOI.
  4. Second the Cryorig H7 recommendation, it will fit well in that case. Never understood why people kept screaming buy Ryzen. Their cpu has more cores but most people will never use all that and for goodness, future proof? Yaaaaa, 1 yr from now there's going to be something new and he probably has enough money to buy something else if he's working or his parent decides to get him a gift.
  5. Ahhh i see, thats a neat trick. I was considering the 5k monitor a few months back for my next upgrade so it helps knowing its possible to get it to work.
  6. Oooh thats really nice to know. So let met get this right you hook up the monitor directly into the thunderbolt 3 io thats built into the motherboard and not the gpu, correct?
  7. Guessing another kink that needs to be ironed out in sli.?
  8. I suggest you get the 580 instead of the 1080ti. if you really do the math, doing 2 upgrade cycles at 300$ each time in a span of 3-6 years is still way cheaper than the 1080ti. Note, i'm basing this on US$.
  9. Go google nowinstock website, it will alarm you when retailers get them in stock best way to get a switch.
  10. You are better off going to your local ikea to see what they offer or some other place you trust. These kind of stuff are best chosen in person rather than looking at pics.
  11. Dongles are going to be selling well if this becomes a thing!?
  12. its not that unbelievable, just some guy with some know how and wants to sell his personalized keyboards and make a little profit. Mechanical keyboards are really easy to produce once you've set up your manufacturing line, which he likely did here. Of course, there's risk involved with a purchases between two individuals so buy at your own risk cuz you aint getting any consumer protection refund there.
  13. This is a perfect example i dont buy evga. I like companies that dump their money on maxing out quality control over making remedies.
  14. Oh man i had a good laugh at the picture. No wonder they are doing so poorly if they cant even make their base look better.
  15. Its either a mistake on their listing or they are doing what they call misrepresentation by allocating the real cost to the shipping tag. It's often used on items by sketchy sellers so don't bother with that one.
  16. ..... another 25hz, what does that equate to in terms of frame? Nothing!!!
  17. I can't believe i'm saying this, but i'm actually excited about this..... The idea of being able to play the old classics again on a handheld is hitting my fatal point. Hope they put N64 games in here too, cuz i would love to have a go at diddy king racing.
  18. take off the cooler on your card, then near the core, there should be a outline of a square as you can see down below. As far as i know, AMD hasn't changed the size of that box outline for years.
  19. check google for pics, that's what i did. the card pcb has a square outline covering the chip so its quite easy to see if it will match the cooler.
  20. if you can match the screw holes on the cooler with the ones on your specific card them you are good. it doesn't need to be a reference card.
  21. You need to understand, those people who sent you those emails at arctic usually doesn't have a clue what they are doing other than read off their compatibility list sheet. What you need to figure out is the screw locations and does it align with your card. If it does align, then you are likely set to go. I had a old 760gtx from asus, and i can say for certain it was not supposed to fit the arctic accelero iv i used, but i managed it by ditching the backplate and simply went ahead with the installation. Their coolers are designed with alot of different screws in mind, so from my experience, its very unlikely it won't fit.
  22. oh man, the chinese accent is strong in this video.... Even as a fellow chinese, it's painful to listen.
  23. Hmm may consider snagging that lightning card if i see it in my area.
  24. lol, you are selling higher than some new cards. no shit you cant sell.
  25. Up one for the new PC suggestion. Man that CPU is so old i haven't seen anyone use it since i was in middle school.
