    Ok, will order MSI Z97 Gaming 5, looks like gap between pcie slots is big enough and upper card will breath a bit. Thanks for help

    I see topic goes in my way Can i run 8x/0x/8x on this Maximus VII Formula? Or any other mobo, where i can use 1st and 3rd slot for SLI? Talking about Z97 chipset...coz want more space for airflow 2x 980Ti Asus Strix.
