  1. Hi all, I have no experience with creating scripts and was wondering if someone could help me. I have Windows 10 IoT and Windows 10 Pro systems. If possible, I need a script that will: Enable touch Keyboard on taskbar, Delete Browser history, Empty Trash bin, Run Disk Cleanup, Clear Activity History, Clear Event Logs, Delete old restore points and create a new one called Factory, Delete Hidden from Device Manager (Not a priority if hard to do) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. PS: If this is the wrong forum for it please direct me to the appropriate one. Edit: I apologize if my post came off as greedy asking for free help in creating this. If someone could help me find a site or program, anything, where I could look for someone to make this for me that would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Sorry for the late reply. I actually just messed around with the settings and split the networks and I've been able to connect to the 5G network. So far it's working well. Don't understand why that would have caused an issue. Thank you for the help though.
  3. Wifi settings as in 2.4 vs 5G? I can only see 1 network on my laptop
  4. It sees all the SSIDs. Lets me type my password in but then goes through verifying connection and says "Can't connect to this network". I've doubled checked the password is correct also
  5. Hello Forum members, I have recently moved from Canada to the US for school. I am staying with a friend who has Verizon internet. The wifi works on all my devices (iPad, iPhone, Friend's Windows desktop) but refuses to connect on my Windows 10 laptop. I've tested my laptop at other locations and it connects without a problem both in the US and when I came home to visit a week ago. I have tried forgetting the network, uninstalling drivers, restarting PC, and doing the Network Reset in settings. Device manager shows the device as Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3160. Dell Inspiron 5559 Laptop. The router is some LTE WIFI 6 Internet Gateway. Help or redirection to another forum with the solution would be appreciated.
  6. I've posted on LTT Forums before regarding my wireless setup. I have a router from Shaw internet in BC and an access point upstairs. I'm able to get good coverage of the house but too often I get a No Internet issue with full bars. It's becoming a real hassle during these times especially as all my school exams happen online and I'm worried I'll just be disconnected. Troubleshooting things I've done: Since I'm mainly connected to the upstairs access point thats the first thing I restarted. Did not fix issue Downstairs desktop is connected with LAN to Modem/router and shows No Internet. Looked at an outage map to make sure it's not my area being affected. No Outages reported. Restarted main modem/router. Fixed the problem. I contacted Shaw and they brought a replacement unit. Still have same issue from time to time It's happened a lot of times and is getting annoying. Is it possible that a router could be overloaded and need restarting that often? Anyone have similar issues? Should I invest in a new router and bridge the modem to it? Any help would be appreciated as I'm completely fed up with this, unfortunately I'm on a 2 year contract so I can't switch to Telus.
  7. Awesome. Thanks for all the help it's been great. Appreciate it :)
  8. Also regarding a mesh system; we have about 10 devices running at a time on wifi. Would a mesh system be able to handle the load of all those devices at once?
  9. I do need 2 lan connections by the main router for a desktop. Rest of the devices run on wifi. When looking for a router is there a certain criteria I should be looking for? Or just go for one of the more gamery streaming routers. I'd prefer to get a system for no more than $200 if it'll fix all my problems. Also any brands I should stay away from?
  10. What's a good router you'd recommend, or a reasonably price mesh network? I've heard about mesh networks but don't understand how they work
  11. I'm having issues with getting a strong connection in different parts of the house. I also get "Internet May Not Be Available" messages on my devices from time to time even though the bars are full. I am using my ISP's router that was given to me and have 2 other cheap routers around the house set up as access points. These are becoming a nuisance having to connect to a different router every time I get a low signal. So I was wondering if investing in a better router would help both the issues of wifi range and the missing internet issues. The house is 3 stories and around 6500 sqft, I would like to get a connection on all 3 floors. Router and modem setup are on middle floor. Thanks
  12. Built a Ryzen 5 Gaming PC and all is working well now while using the system, but when I let computer go to Sleep it does not wake quick enough. After it goes to Sleep and I attempt to turn it on, the screen remains black for quite a while. Mouse shows up on screen and responds fine, but windows login screen does not show for about 3-5 mins. I am running off an SSD so it's actually quicker for me to boot from a complete shutdown than to wait for it to wake from Sleep. I'd like to figure out this sleep problem soon as I'd like to keep my work open in tabs than having to shutdown every night. Build: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (stock cooler) MoBo: MSI B350 Tomahawk ATX GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 (2x8GB) PSU: Seasonic 520w
  13. Connections seem good. I'll try the memtest later tonight. So far the PC has been on since I've posted. About 25 mins. Hasn't restarted. But I haven't been using it either.
  14. Like I've said, I flashed the latest BIOS already to version 1.6 from MSI site, My CPU and GPU temps are 35 and 40 degrees C respectively. Edit: Updated drivers for everything as well
