UPDATE: Not sure if it's random, but apperently disabling and enabling network adapter fixes packetloss for some time...? p.s. USB LAN i bought to test had similar "prefix" as my onboard lan (onboard is Realtek PCIe GbE Family controller, and usb one was Realtek USB XX (some latters) Family controller).. Might be that some kind of controller makes problem with connection

At this point i tested every single thing posible to test, yet i have some kind of "packetloss", not sure if i should even call it that, so i belive it might be windows 10! This issue affects only my "gaming", when im in Fortnite/Dota 2/Elder Scrolls online, i have really good ping, i dont have any packetloss but every 20-30 seconds (random timings) game just stops, and drives me back few meters where i was (cant swap guns, cant really hit buildings or anything), this lasts for about 2-3seconds. In fortnite game shows "100/150% packetloss" while in dota 2, PubG it doesnt show that i have packetloss. Things i tried: I bought USB to LAN (same issue, didnt fix), reinstalled windows (via in windows option "reset my pc", deleted everything from system disk), updated BIOS, updated drivers, nothing fixed.. Right now i have some "theory", i connected my phone to my wifi (same connection i use to connect my lan), then i connected my mobile to PC to act like "hotspot" (i dont have wifi card so im testing it via phone). When i use 4G data everything is fine, i dont have any packetloss no matter what, but when i use wifi i have same issue as when i use lan, so by logic this is my internet problem (since i think mobile phone acts like "modem" and windows doesnt know which connection im using). Everything would be fine, but i have another PC with windows 7 that is connected to same network and doesnt have packetloss issue i have (it has small packetloss from time to time but not even close as much problems as i have).. Any ideas if windows 10 can cause some problems? Should i try to reinstall it with USB drive (not with in windows option)?

Not very helpfull.. Im sure there's some good software that will do the job just fine, ones i tested ping only 1 per second

I have had issue with packet loss for about month, it gets better/worst from time to time but packetloss is here. I generally dont have any packtloss in morning or untill 3-4 pm, after that it starts and it only gets worst and worst (from 5% up to 20%).. I tested this on 2 different PC's ingames or using CMD to ping www.google.com. Games do more then 1 ping per second which overall shows higher packetloss then CMD pings.. Now im looking for some kind of software that will test packetloss more then 1 ping per second.. P.S. Cable company changed their router, it didnt help, i called them many times, and all i get "we are looking into your problem"..

Well actualy ZOS makes ESO, yea i know it is not optimized good, but still people can get more fps then i have with same or worst hardware.. I dont run out of ram, but that is most suspicious thing for me, because when i bought my mobo cpu and ram, mobo couldnt detect 8gb, just detected (8 gb detected 4 usable only even tho w10 64bit), and now even tho it detects fully 8gb, there might be some problem with ram..

But problem is same, i had GTX 460, i had bad FPS, now i have way better GPU and FPS is maybe 6-7 more then i had before.. In Fortnite i see 150 fps more then i had, and in heaven benchmark around 120fps more then i had..

Its not i have 100fps while not in combat..

Yes, game is hugely not optimazed for everything.. But still, some people say that their FPS is good even tho they have worst hardware then i have...

Oke now i am so confused... I have r5 1500x, GTX 680 (which i bought 2 days ago) and 8gb of ddr4 memory (2x4 gbs paired), and in MMO game ESO i cant get more then 40 fps in combat..Before i bought GTX 680 i had gtx 460 (1gb ddr5), and i had almost same FPS with GTX 460 as i have now with GTX 680.. .. In other games i see huge difference between old and new gpu, but in Elder scrolls online (eso) i see 5-6 fps maybe more... Btw i play at 720p at medium textures,and everything else is LOW or off..... I have pretty old HDD tho, i think it is sata 2 (but 100% health and performance) but as far as i know HDD doesnt impact my fps... So CPU is fine i guess, GPU is much better then i had before(gtx460), ram is decent kingstone 2400mhz ddr4.. (my temps are good, and when im playing game, i see only 30-40% overall CPU usage, same is with my GPU usage, but still i have terible FPS......)

I have 720p monitor, gtx 670 is 10$ more then rx 460.. But it is way older... Not sure if performance is much higher on GTX 670 then on RX 460? If it's like 10-15% difference(in games) i would go with rx 460 TBH, lower power, less heat..

What is the difference between rx 1050 and rx 460 (2gb) in performance? I was looking at some benchmarks, but they are so much different, some shows that they are very similar some of them shows that 1050 is much better.. Is rx460 in range with some old gpu's like GTX 760/GTX 670 / HD 7870?

I need a decent gpu to play some MMO games at 720p mostly. I can get for for similar price: RX 460 (2gb), GTX 670 (2gb), HD 7870 (2gb) All gpu's are used, but price is same on all of them (around 90$), i think that the GTX 670 is best here (10 more $ then RX 460) but it is very old used GPU, not sure if it is worth it to go for GTX 670?

Wasnt about modem, i found out that youtube it self was slowing me down because apperently i "watched too many videos" or started one video over and over so it is some security thing, so people cant push views so much or something like that..

About 4-5hrs ago i noticed this problem, on youtube video is forcing me to play it at 144p and slow buffering even at that resolution (at 720p or 1080p wont even start buffering). Everything else is fine, twitch 1080p sorce no stutters.. But when i play some new random video, it buffers fine at 1080p, and if i restart page and get back to video, that same video WONT buffer, and force me to 144p (before reloading page video was buffering just fine, after i try to play it later it wont buffer.. So i play oneNEW video, any video it's fine, when i try to play it for second time, nop it wont buffer and force me to 144p. I tried another PC with windows 7 (mine is w10) same thing, that videos that i have been watching for once, wont play again.. Same on mobile phone. I did restart cable modem, and my router, its not fixing it (same thing when i plug directly LAN cable into modem). Not logged at any account or using any adblock etc.. Is there something i could do?

Getting a new PSU wont help you at all.. 1st of all that q6600 bottleneck your gpu BY a lot, that gpu should play mw2 without problem even with that cpu combo, check your settings, resolution scaling etc.. P.S. if you do break your gpu, it wont decrease FPS.. So you are fine on gpu side...

I dont think x5650 will bottleneck 1070 at all (if you get decent OC) x5650 is on pair with i7 6700 stock, so you will be fine..

I had similar issue on i5 2500k (4.5ghz) with GTX 770.. i played mostly big open world games, and fps was good, but it felt like i was playing 30-40 fps max.. I switched to ryzen, and used same gpu , fps was not much higher, but expirience was much better. When much is going on in game (many players at same place) on i5 i couldnt play at all, fps was 40-50 but it felt like 15fps.. on ryzen 1500x fps is similar but gameplay is fluid..
