  1. Hello, this may sound silly and I don't know if its possible to do but I am interested in finding out how much data in GB has been written and deleted on both my HDD and SSD. I have read they have a "limit" on the data you can write-delete or the cycles they do before they die. So, in general I want to know if I can see their remaining life. I understand that even if it possible to see this it's not real and they wont die immediately when they reach those numbers. Thank you for your time
  2. Hello, I am in the search for a new headset because the one that I have right now is bad. I searched around the internet to see the difference between the 3.5mm jack and the USB ones and as a result I found out that USB has better sound quality because it's "independent" from the quality of the sound card that the PC has and also the jack ones don't support 7.1 surround which I prefer having for CSGO. I did a search on my local stores to find a USB one. Mainly I am searching for a Razer one because both my keyboard and mouse are Razer I will only need one software to manage them, Synapse and if I buy a headset of another brand I will have to install their driver and this is going to be one more software running in the background and taking resources while gaming and etc. But the problem with the Razer ones around 50 euros that I found on my local stores are the Kraken which they are using jack. The cheapest I found with USB are the Electra but they don't have good reviews and the next one are the Tournament Edition but they cost 20-30 euros more. So to sum up, which is a headset you would recommend me? If you also recommend buying a jack one then no problem. I also read that Razer has a software that can offer virtual surround on a jack headset, correct me if I am wrong. If there aren't many good options for a USB one and I should go for the TE I can hardly give that 20 euros and buy it. But if you also recommend buying one from another brand then ok. Thank you for your time and sorry for the long post.
  3. No, I am not putting this on the internet. I just want a local server to simply receive and send emails. I am following this guide and because they used .com I thought it wouldn't be a problem to use it.
  4. So if I understand well, the following configuration on /etc/hosts is not valid: I need something like zimbra.wantedstarling.local.
  5. Hello, I have been trying for weeks to set up a mail server. I read everywhere about that FQDN. And I see in order to set the FQDN I must change the hostname on my linux distro. Everytime I do and try to ping it after it, I dont get a reply. So my question is, do I have to rent a domain? Can't I set the FQDN of my server by just changing the hostname on my linux to my preferred hostname? Is this the reason I don't get a reply when pinging? Thank you for your time
  6. Hello, I found two mice to buy but can't decide which one. The first is the Razer Deathadder Elite and the second is the Corsair Ironclaw RGB(wired edition). I read different reviews and both are great mice. Games I play are GTAV, CS:GO, Assasins Creed(Origins, Unity), Watch dogs, For Honor, Destiny 2, Hitman. The only game that mouse size, weight and responsiveness are important is for CS, now I have a Microsoft basic mouse 200 and its a very light weight mouse but this is the only good with this mouse. I don't care if my new mouse is heavier, if I can play CS comfortably then why not. I would like to hear if anyone has a mouse in the same weight and size like these two and can tell me if its comfortable or not for FPS, I don't think the other games I mentioned care about size and weight. Every answer is appreciated, thank you for your time.
  7. Hello, I have an Asus H110M-K motherboard with an Intel Pentium G4560. Currently I am running the latest update my BIOS has. But, Asus released a new update not for the BIOS but for the CPU microcode. I didn't what this was so I did a little search and read some articles and I am concerned if I should update. While searching I found articles that were explaining what this is and some scary articles that were saying: So, what do you recommend me, should I update? If it has any security features then why not update? Thank you for your time
  8. Hello, I want to buy a new mouse and I'm between the Motospeed V30 and the Corsair Harpoon RGB. I know both mice are average quality that's why I'm asking, if someone owns one. But if have some another to recommend me then no problem. Thank you for your time
  9. Hello, I'm about to buy the parts for a new build but I'm not sure about the PSU, how much power the build needs. CPU:Intel Core i3 8100 MB:Asus Z170-A RAM:Corsair Vengeance LPX 4GB DDR4 2400 GPU Palit Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dual OC NE5105TS18G1D Storage:Kingston SSDNow UV400 120GB + WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" SATA ΙΙΙ WD10EZEX Case:Thermaltake Versa H22 Window Cooling:CPU Stock Cooler, 3xAerocool Dark Force 120mm Case fans At first I was considering buying the Corsair RMx Series RM650X PSU but now I changed my mind to the Corsair RMx Series RM550X. Will the 550W PSU be enough even for a future upgrade? Thank you for your time
  10. I'm playing Watch dogs, Assasins Creed Black Flag, Homefront and some other horror game like Outlast. But when there will be sales again I'm planning to buy something newer(not so new but let's say better) like GTA V or Watch dogs 2 or Overwatch or CS:GO.
  11. Hello, I recently built a PC that has an Intel G4560. So far I'm playing games with the Intel HD Graphics 610. Now that I collected some money again I want to buy a new graphics card. But I want to buy a graphics card obviously better than the HD Graphics because I can say that the HD Graphics 610 have very good performance. I found the GT 1030 which has 2GB and as I searched on the internet I read very good reviews about this card. But I also read that AMD now has better drivers for their GPUs, everyone says nVidia experience sucks. So, I'm really concerned now. I like buying things that everyone prefers, e.g. I like a PC having Intel or Asus motherboard or having an nVidia GPU because all these years these companies are the most trust worthy. So, what people do you say, should I go to nVidia and if yes which card do you suggest for 100 euros, hardly 120 euros? Or should I go to AMD? Thank you for your time. P.S. Sorry of the long text.
  12. I also found the CX 430. Is it good, it costs 50 euros and due to the price I found respective for that price.
  13. Hello, I'm on a tight budget for a new PC and I've found two PSUs that are suitable for my build. The one is the Corsair VS Series VS450 80Plus and the other is the EVGA 430W Power Supply 80 PLUS. I've read reviews about those two and I'm in a dilemma. The Corsair is good enough but It doesn't have good capacitors and it is not recommended for OC and the EVGA, I see a lot of people buying it but I trust Corsair more. Could someone tell which one is the most trusted? Thank you for your time.
  14. Actually I don't like AMD's CPUs so even now that my budget is tight I won't go on AMD(and not gonna go never). Also for the bottleneck with graphics card, Intel HD graphics are just fine for the game that I play so I won't buying a GPU for some time.
  15. All the parts of this build are available to my country and approximately in the same price because of the currency.
