    Os transfer

So I just got done recently building a computer but I held off from buying a new os because I already have a laptop with windows 8. I have already tried using the Microsoft tool to copy the ISO onto a USB and have it reformated to be a boot drive but Everytime I try to use it on my computer it give me the same message "boot disk failure, insert a boot disk" (doesn't say that word for word but it's pretty close) what should I do to get my os onto this new computer and/or where can I go to buy windows 8 without having to spend over a ridiculous price (I.e. 100 dollars, 50 dollars)
  3. also My goal is to be able to run all the new triple A games that come out this year at a fair quality to fps for example I want to be able to run battlefield 1 on medium at 30-60 fps and so forth
  4. gotta say thx to everyone who is helping me out I am really appreciating all the help I am getting but my plans for graphics cards has changed I'm going to throw the extra cash for a gtx 1070 when I have either the money or when it's in stock, otherwise that everything looks good from what everyone has said in response but I guess I forgot to mention I like running a lot in my background when i game from making videos to skyping with friends (and skyping takes up all my current processor which is a intel core I7-4500U dual core) and that can barely keep up but I am aware that this cpu is a pretty crappy I7. So with these current changes I would like it so much if you could help me along with these guide lines. I am really stuck on the 1070/1080 when it comes out so it would be useful if I could work around the graphics card instead of other components if that is possible. and sorry if I'm being hard to work with I'm trying to make this pc last as long as possible for a fair price
  5. So I have been doing research to find a good pc for around 500 us dollars I have made a current list that should be able to run whiter 3 on medium 30 fps (I did an online check on the site Game Debate, if you wanna see what I'm talking about go to google and type in the search "can my pc run witcher 3 game debate" and it should be one of the first links) I would like to find a pc that can do just as well for hopefully cheaper than 500 or maybe better for a little more (I do have room for more money but i would like to keep it as cheap as possible with still keeping it realistic) here his my current list on pcpartpicker, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/F6zsbv Like I said I want something that can run as well as this for cheaper or better for a little more spending but not over 650 please (this is a mixed build of AMD and Nvidia I know but I don't really care about brands I just care about performance). I am somewhat educated on parts for pc's but I'm no where near good, little side note this will be my first pc build.
