Somehow the rollback worked with a recovery disk, it said it failed, but it loaded in perfectly fine sooooo, thanks for the help

So, The last backup was 2 monthes ago and that isn't close enough. And we don't have a legit windows 7 disk to reinstall windows.

Yeah the stuff is very important. I'll see if we can roll back. I can't get to a check disk so if i can't rollback then i'll have to transfer

Yeah safe mode doesn't load in either but we do have a windows server for backups, we might be able to do that, but getting the cd for it is going to be annoying, and hoping for a simpler solution

It has one drive and is set as AHCI. No idea why it would be raid or ide in the first place so i'm going to trust that it was ahci in the first place. Right now he's running some sort of troubleshooting disk for windows 7

I could try but my dads computer is an hp, and has been pretty default since we got it, maybe it went from hp default to windows default

Me and my dad were installing some lights in the garage, wiggld some wired and the breaker flipped for the downstairs. After 30 seconds it goes black for half a send and goes back to this screen, and it just loops like this.

I recently reformatted as well and have the same problem, have you found a fix? I was running windows 8 before and it was perfectly fine, reformat and somethings screwed up. Youtube lags when playing a full screen game, never used to do this. AMD 4100, GTX 560, 8 gb 1333 ram

Yeah I have a an on off and volume control in line with my speakers but my cable management is the worst. I do have a Logitech g510 I think with audio passthrough but the headphones use USB power. And I hate them

Speakers and headphones are 3.5 mm jacks. Speakers are 2.1 and headphones idk

I use a desktop mic, and when we get into games, I have to use headphones. Sometimes I just like to use headphones, especially at night. But my headphone jack on the front of my computer is broken. I'm just curious what combo of sound card and onboard sound, maybe some software, or maybe an external sound card. Hardware switch or software switch, what's the best solution?

He's not worried about detail, and the monitor I'm giving him isn't 1080. And an A-10 6800k is ten times better than any Intel integrated solution

Yeah its so easy to run. He said that he wants room to put a graphics card in like a year down the road, maybe an 860 or something. So bigger case and psu is necessary. But idk anything about budget psus

I play league regularly and I've never seen a performance difference since last year. The game also looks the same, but I do remember they tweaked the dbgine and the map last year

And btw, i have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for him ready to go. The monitor is 1024x768, which will help tremendously with the performance. That biostar board, i know it is crap. But it's the cheapest. For 50 bucks there's a asrock board that has dvi output, would that be way better? or not. If I could get him dvi I'll give up my dvi monitor, which is 1280x1024.

Okay guys. I'll try to keep this as informative as I can. This is a build for a friend. He is really big into league of legends, and he's looking into the new final fantasy mmo, but that's not entirely necessary. So I don't want to get into personal details but, he can't really play league right now till he gets his own computer. He just got a new job so his first few paychecks will go to this. No I'm pretty informed when it comes to high end stuff, but not the budget stuff. I really don't know how to get the bang out of a buck, and when I built my semi budget gaming computer, I had a lot of help then too. Now this is going to annoy you guys I know, but there is no budget. Just need it as cheap as possible. I know, you guys will say if he just saves a bit more he could get a 750 dollar budget and be good for a year. His idea is that he could take that extra money and spend it on actual important stuff in his life like, idk food and car insurance. So this is how cheap we are going. I have a 160 gb 7200 rpm hard drive. It runs well because I have ubuntu on it right now and don't have any problems. I also have a 4 gb samsung, 1333 ram, so if we don't go apu, we'll use that. I also have a like 10 year old server case with a hole in the side.... okay we aren't using that lol. My main issue is, apu vs budget card. I don't have experience with apus so idk if I trust it yet. So, need league at any setting that never dips below 30 fps, preferably max settings. My system is a fx4100/560, and i get 70-100 fps. Also no overclocking.

Am I the only one not really excited? I miss 1942, the modding scene in that game and vietnam. Battlefield these days is a war against COD to make a modern fps with huge battles that look good. Apparently, my internet is fine. My internet goes out when: When it rains When it's about to rain When it's too sunny out When it feels like it Around 11pm Around 5am My modem has a bunch of lights. On, receiving packets, sending packets, and online. It can receive all day long but can't send. A friend down the street, when my internet goes out, his kind of hicups, goes out for a split second. Now this is a complaining thread for everyone that hates their isp, but if you know what's going wrong here then feel free to help. Anyway, Fuck Metrocast.
