  2. Hey guys this is my first post So I'm planning on getting the Xonar Essense STX on my build. And I have decided my desktop speakers and I'm not planning on upgrading to more than these two (links below). I wanted to know which would be an optimum Amp for the Xonar Essence STX. I have seen the small desktop Amps, but they seem like they wouldn't do justice to the sound card. And I don't want a really huge Amp with 5 or 7 channel outputs etc like the Denons or the Onkyas. If they have a good compact one, I wouldn't mind. For now I'm looking at the Maverick Audio TubeMagic D2 (links below). May give you an idea of the size and what I'm looking for. Though I'm not sure if it has the 2 analog "In's" to connect it to the sound card. I havent seen many review on the Maverick either, so if you guys have had any opinion about this Amp, feel free to share. My price range is up to $400, may go a bit more if necessary.
