  1. my computer currently using 1 HDD 1 m.2 Sata SSD and 1 M.2 sata SSD with 2.5" adapter, there is one pcie only slot on my motherboard. made a mistake thinking i could plug M.2 Sata to Pcie only slot hence the M.2 to 2.5" adapter. but right now i am away from my computer, i could get SSD for sizable discounts, was thinking to buy M.2 Pcie and 2.5" SSD, use it as external storage for now then plug it into my motherboard when i am back. i thought i could buy M.2 enclosure and use PCIE SSD now and swap it to my existing SATA SSD later when i need it.
  2. is there any m.2 enclosure that support both standards or is it impossible to have both?
  3. Thanks! will try to find more alternatives for now
  4. Thanks for the clarification. my experience with asus ROM are terrible, not only it drains battery the updates are slow and introduce more problem than feature. same goes for LG, V20 w/ SD820 feels 'laggy' when opening apps and battery also terrible
  5. never install custom ROM so far, can it brick the device?
  6. planning to get low cost tablet, MI pad 4 (SD660) seems good but the MIUI concerns me, anyone can share their experience with MIUI? other alternatives are, Galaxy tab s2 (SD652)
  7. took me quite a while to buy the parts due to uni exams. i also notice that the ram is running at 2133hz, is it normal? considering i bought 2400
  8. Update: got everything working Current parts. i5 8400. Asus B360i, corsair ddr2400 . corsair SF450 still havent decide on the case yet. currently consider the above recommendation rvz02. i am also looking at dan case alternatives, any thoughts?
  9. what gpu you are using ? i mean the brand. and how is the temp on idle?
  10. yes, most likely will go for 8400
  11. yep, that left me with only 1 option. Ryzen 5 2600G. so far still cant find local store selling this cpu.
  12. just realize 1600 dont have igpu. does all 2nd gen ryzen have?
  13. Update: Decided to go with Asus B350-i and Ryzen 5 1600. will probably use the igpu for a while. can someone tell me the feature difference in B and X chipset ? i found this online but couldn't understand how it will translate to real world use
