Thanks buddy.
People that champion value always seem to ignore that price:performance ratio never scales 1:1...especially when you get near the top.

Same thing happens in any enthusiast community. It's always the last 10% that costs a great deal more. Cars, guns, computers, you name it. The only difference with PC community is that the snowflakes have a better medium for crying out loud about the world not being a fair place.

PCGuy_5960 got a reaction from Sacriledgy in Searching for compatible parts r5 1500x
Get a Ryzen 5 1600 instead of the 1500X, it doesn't cost much more but it's way better Avoid MSI for Ryzen, get an AsRock or an ASUS board The 7600 is worse than the 1500X/1600 -
PCGuy_5960 reacted to Sacriledgy in Searching for compatible parts r5 1500x
What do you mean by compatible? The RGB light? Or the Stick in general?
All DDR4 stick should compatibility with motherboard that supports DDR4

PCGuy_5960 reacted to Sacriledgy in Searching for compatible parts r5 1500x
I read that they are working togather, but i don't think Vengeance RGB can be paired with MSI Mystic
Quoted from kitguru.com
....Better yet if the lighting could be integrated with Asus/ASRock Aura, RGB Fusion and MSI Mystic Light Sync, however we do not expect this to happen.

PCGuy_5960 reacted to Sacriledgy in Searching for compatible parts r5 1500x
You're good to go then. But i will generally avoid MSI boards.

That problem is gone now. With Aura 1.04.43 the SPD corruption is confirmed to be solved. (From ROG Forum and Administrator Private Message)

PCGuy_5960 reacted to Morgan MLGman in VEGA die size confirmed
Well, my R9 Fury had die size of 596 mm2 so as a successor to the Fury series, it's good to see at least a smaller die. Although I'm not optimistic about Vega, it just won't deliver to what has gathered around it... People will be disappointed even if Vega turns out to at least match Nvidia's offerings at a lower price point.
