Yeah, compared to its peak fortnite definitely isn't making as much money as it used to, but quite frankly, I don't think any game can compete with fortnite's peak. My point was that the game is still alive and brings in huge amounts of money to epic games, the only thing that has (at least in my experience) changed is the target audience.

I think people are underestimating how popular fortnite still is. Sure, its popularity has plummeted among people over the age of 15 (outside of competitive players), but there are tons of little kids who play fortnite religiously and spend all the money they get on vbucks, perhaps even more than in 2018. Especially the past couple of months with most of the game's content being skins from popular movies/shows/artists, their revenue is as good as ever.

The revenue has declined im pretty sure the last time I checked. That being said it's still over 1 billion dollars so can't say it's a small amount of money they are making on fortnite still. Honestly I don't think the game will ever really go away just like games like csgo or league of legends. Sure the popularity might fall but not to zero. Multi-player games have incredible replay ability which is why they are so popular and because the fortnite is free it is easily accessible to all while also having good ways to monetize it.

I wouldn't worry about it. I have a 360hz 1080p monitor and a 4k monitor that runs at 98hz. Before that I had a 240hz monitor and a 60 hz monitor. Regardless of what setup I had it wasn't a bad experience. I would always recommend running a 2 monitor setup and having the second monitor being 60hz makes alot of sense in alot of cases. I mean for looking at pdfs and browsing the web and watching videos 60hz vs 360hz makes little difference so why spend more if you aren't going to use it for gaming?

I haven't an ounce of knowledge in human psychology or criminology, so not too sure how these works, but I definitely would put her under surveillance instead of giving her position to monitor literal millions of underaged people

There are many opportunities for rehabilitation, but positions of power are not suitable for such a task.

Reddit Admins (staff hired by Reddit) appear to have power to read and view private messages and information of the users of the site.  Given that there are many youth that use the site, and there is a lot of amateur  pornographic content, there is reasonable concern that the Admins are not complicit with any illegal or harmful actions using the power that their job provides.

Unfortunately for Reddit, the handling of this situation and the apparent lack of vetting, has resulted in Reddit itself and its hiring practices, are no longer trust worthy.

i don't exactly have a habit of being lenient on pedophiles or people who defend them or allow such acts to continue.

There seems to be accounts where the timeline puts her living in the house WHILE he was torturing the child. sources for which i am absolutely NOT posting here due to the other content within the articles.

even if she wasn't she still hired him AFTER he was convicted. i want you to read this:
Twisted pervert abused ten-year-old girl in Coventry 'torture den' attic | The Coventry Observer

and tell me if you still think either of them have changed in any meaningful way in such a short period of time, how anyone could even think of defending someone like him, even if it's your own family, brings everything else you do into immediate question.

and there is some very disgusting evidence of Aimee's life and some of the other people she associated with prior to her transition and foray into politics that i really wish i didn't read.

There is just too much against her at this point that for MY opinion, she should not be in any position of power ever.

I don't like cancel culture at all lots of people have done bad things and have come around or do/done things that you don't allign with, that aren't necessarily bad but rather something you don't like because of your opinion. However this person had terrible connections a sketchy as heck situation and terrible morals. I think the firing was completely justified. However I in no way give Reddit credit for it they would have done nothing if people didn't shut down their subreddits and make sure they did something.

Cancel culture is stupid, but I wouldn't say this is an example of that. If they were cancelled for posting a controversial/edgy post on social media, I'd agree, but this person (at least from the looks of it) defended and covered not one, but two pedos, this isn't just completely immoral, but I'm pretty sure that it is actually illegal too.

    [Sigh]
Amazon is not the first to do this.
This is no invasion to privacy, what you do on company time is company intellectual property.
Amazon has the right to protect its investments, both personal and physical property.
Those cameras also protect you. Try the other shoe, supervisor claims your slouching.... umm camera proves otherwise. Didn't open the world of thought on this article to much....  and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

What I see is this ... people whining about cameras being used to enforce worker accountability.
The urinating thing, (I can't believe I have to explain this) if you're not old enough [mentally] to find a bathroom when its time then well, you are not competent to be working anyway. Not to mention this public urination and defecation in most countries is illegal.

I see absolutely nothing wrong here.

Lastly, this topic is not worth the time to address, post and to be replied too.
After having been a COO for a company for 10years my sympathy for [driver] is kinda low.

I think the title here is very misleading, as is your thoughts on the article.
Cameras in vehicles make sense. They're not really a violation of privacy; you don't own the vehicle, it's company property, really, you have no right to privacy within it. Drivers saying they can't find time to find a bathroom? Bullshit. Plan your life better. Public urination, in a lot of places, is illegal.

If it really did reduce problems by 48%, I'm all for it.

No idea if it's legal or not, I know that in Canada that's illegal and people have went to jail for 'production of child porn' for writing such stories. Like I said, don't know about the UK.

Just to be clear, her supplying a false name so that she can hire her dad as a campaign manager could be illegal ( I haven't read on this yet and I'm only going from information supplied by proxy).

Point is, Reddit has a history of catering and defending pedos, and she has a history of being a pedo supporter, not something very popular. Googling her name uncovers a lot of articles about her being kicked out of 2 parties for all of this.

Controversial?? That's a bit of an over simplification

I think it's right for users and moderators to feel upset that someone that close to... Pedophiles, basically, has been appointed as a moderator. Reddit has had a long history of child sexualization so I have no idea why they didn't expect this back lash.

She may be an employee, but why do they need to defend her? They don't defend any other promenent figures from harassment, hell even just regular users they don't care about
