  1. You could argue the same thing about gaming, lol. Gaming is even worse since you are wasting that energy for literally nothing and are getting nothing in return . At least cryptocurrency lets you make money.
  2. To play at official events you have to be 13 or older and have your parent's permission if you are under 17. Quite frankly, I think this article is super clickbaity, maybe they'll use the kid as a content creator or streamer, but he won't be able to play at events for 5 years. That's a hell of a long time in esports and fortnite may be long dead by then. Especially since pretty much all the funding for fortnite esports comes from epic games exclusively, when they start seeing their revenue drop, competitive events will most likely be first on the chopping block.

Honestly it's fucking hilarious watching people…

wdym I don't need a 3080. Nah, you're mistaken, my *looks at pc* 2080 Ti is literally so outdated, can't even get 200FPS on max settings.
  5. A lot of people in the aim training community think muscle memory isn't that important and the more you practice the better you get at controlling different sensitivities. I think there's some truth to that, but I believe the best for consistency is to find a good middle ground sens for the games you play and stick with it for a while. I doubt it's very good for consistency to constantly switch between 20 and 70cm/360 for example.

man, I hate that I cant find that "perfect" mou…

The Model D has a pretty good cable, don't think it's really worth replacing. The Zowie cable is terrible tho.

The EC1 is the large and EC2 is medium, if most of your palm is touching the mouse, I'd say the EC1 is probably a better option for your hand size. The Glorious Model D is also good if you don't mind the holes (it's basically a lighter and slightly smaller EC1).

What's your hand size? If you palm grip, I'd strongly recommend the Zowie EC series.
  9. I mean, copyright doesn't have much to do with free speech. You're free to use your favorite star wars quotes in any way you like and you won't have the mouse and his lawyers knocking on your door. What you can't do is rip off someone else's work and profit off of it, which I think is fair, but yes, I do think copyright laws can be too strict at times. I'd say another reason (at least in the context of politics) is that most people don't really want an actual discussion with the "other side", they see them as the enemy who needs to be defeated. Their team is always right and the other is always wrong.

  11. I just said that politicians will definitely try to abuse it to their advantage, I didn't say they would be successful doing it. It is a good thing, but from the description it is very vague. This one specifically: Practically everything can be labelled misleading if you try hard enough.

Eh, the hardest part is just finding all the spam posts. The forum generally does a good job of catching many of them before they go public though.
  15. Yes, that's why movies, games and practically everything has age ratings. Perhaps they should be taken more seriously, but they do exist. I think there is a pretty big difference between physically harmful and addictive substances that physically affect your brain (drugs, alcohol) or guns that are literally made to kill and a movie with some guy in a funny costume beating up an alien. I'm exaggerating, I guess, but let's be real if playing GTA turned you into a serial killer, you probably already had some very serious issues to begin with. I do agree that some games/movies might go a bit overboard on the violence, but still I don't think it would make much sense to blame violence on them, especially since there is little to no evidence to support this idea.

  17. I haven't looked that much into switches to be honest. They are pretty cheap on aliexpress though, so if you aren't completely sure which ones you want, you can order a few of each model to try them out and see if they fit and order more of the ones you like.
  18. To be entirely honest, I don't think it makes much sense to paracord and change the mouse feet on a Deathadder v2. The stock cable and feet are already really good so the upgrade would be minimal. For the mouse feet you could buy Corepads/Hyperglides/Tiger Ice feet, which are an upgrade, but not a huge one AFAIK. If the cable bothers you a lot, I think a better idea would be to get a Deathadder v2 Pro which gets rid of the wire entirely.
  19. Sorry for the late reply, please don't forget to quote or mention the person you're replying to so that they can get a notification that you replied . Kailh GM switches work just fine in the G502 as far as I know, they are a bit stiffer but not much, I think the same holds true for the Omron 20Ms. If you like the feel of the stock switches, there's no need to replace them by the way. I used the heck out of my G502 for 2 or so years and the middle mouse button was the first that failed, the main switches still work fine. It is speculated that the 50Ms fail much more often in wireless mice, because they are run at a lower voltage in those mice.
  20. AFAIK, the G502 uses Omron 50M switches, you can recognize them by the blue dot. I'd recommend looking at the Kailh GM 4.0 and 8.0 switches too, as they are generally considered better replacements for Omrons.
  21. Movies tend to be much more realistic than games though, not to mention that they are hugely more popular, so in a sense they are glorifying violence to a much larger extent than video games can. Same thing with rap music, think about how many hours each song has been played on spotify alone. It's probably much more than GTA I don't think any of these cause violence, but I don't think it would make much sense to blame video games before movies or music.
  22. I wouldn't really be worried, there have been plenty of joke bills like this and none have actually passed. The whole premise is a joke anyway, if we were to blame violence on some form of media (which is stupid in its own right) video games would be last on my list. Politicians and their social media followings have been responsible for infinitely more violence than any video game.
