  4. I'm starting to wonder if there is something seriously wrong with my G Pro Superlight's feet, they build up a ton of static electricity and almost stick to the mousepad when swiping around. At first I thought it was the cordura fabric on the MPC450, but this happens with some regular cloth mousepads I tried too. I also thought it might be something with my setup, but I tried a bunch of other mice and it doesn't seem to happen with them, so idk.

  6. DPI deviation is a thing with all mice, even those that use the same sensor (or even are the exact same model). It's usually negligible, but you may have gotten unlucky with a copy that has particularly bad deviation. In my experience the weight distribution and sensor on the lightsync feel the exact same as the prodigy, or even the G Pro wired. The sensor on the lightsync is downgraded, since it can lose tracking when you move it very fast, but other than that, the sensors feel identical to me.

    Basically general discussion

  8. Probably DPI deviation, you can either get used to it or measure the DPI of both of your mice and adjust your settings accordingly (using something like this https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/dpianalyzer/ or by measuring your sensitivity in a game in cm/inches).

What gets me the most is when they say ‘I checked all the other subforums and couldn’t find the right one’ and you know that if they did they would have found it within 10 seconds.

  10. Just because many people use it doesn't mean that pollution isn't an issue. Cars are a good example of that. Not really, mining only uses the GPU and most people who are serious about mining undervolt their cards to minimize power consumption. Games stress both the CPU and GPU and most gamers tend to overclock their systems (which maximizes their power consumption) to get as many frames as they can. Gaming also includes all the consoles too, which can't really be used for mining anyway. Making money=bad? Yep, agreed, leaving the lights on when they don't need to be just wastes energy and your money, it's a net negative. You seem to think that everyone who uses cryptocurrency is a criminal, which is just not true. https://www.forbes.com/sites/haileylennon/2021/01/19/the-false-narrative-of-bitcoins-role-in-illicit-activity/
  11. Wait, which G Pro? The wired or the wireless one? If it's the wired, there's the G203/102 and G305 from Logitech. If you are talking about the wireless one, probably a Zowie S1/S2. The Razer Viper/Glorious Model O/Zowie FK1(+)-B are similar too, but they are flatter than the G Pro. The Steelseries Sensei Ten might also be worth taking a look at. I will also mention the G-Wolves Hati (Medium) which is an identical shape to the GPW, but the QC on it is pretty dodgy AFAIK, so I'm not sure if I'd recommend it (Especially for the amount of money they are asking).
  12. Please edit your post to meet these guidelines:
  13. Very few people actually make money off of gaming, while everyone with a decent GPU can make money off of cryptocurrency. Most games require multiple servers to function properly, which tend to consume a ton of power. Doesn't really matter, if one is destroying the planet, so is the other. Pollution depends on the amount, not the power consumption per person. Yes, value is subjective. Really? Hardware in recent times is consuming more and more power for even the slightest bumps in performance. Look at the latest Intel CPUs and all the recent GPUs from Nvidia and AMD for example. Very few people are running 20GPUs to mine though. That's typical politician behavior. Pretty much every government in the world does this when they want to regulate something and avoid controversy. They point to the environment or some other important topic so they can easily deflect all criticism of the regulation.
  14. It's really not that hard to do both, unless you heave terrible time management or are seriously struggling academically.
  15. Is your entertainment worth destroying the planet? (Huge exaggeration, obviously, but if bitcoin is destroying the planet so is gaming) There are so many other things you can do to entertain yourself that don't consume so much energy, so why not ban gaming too? You can think that crypto is for dumb people and criminals, but that doesn't mean that you can't make (good) money off of it, this instantly makes it far more valuable than gaming.

  18. Yeah, but most streamers have like 10 viewers and are lucky to make $10 in a month. It's very hard to make any meaningful amount of money by streaming and typically it involves a lot of skill and luck. If you mine the right cryptocurrency you can make more money in a few hours than you could by streaming for an entire month.
