I don't really know what stats this paid option provides, but it's not like stats are that important in a game like CS. They are heavily influenced by your rank and playing for stats can often hinder your ability to play with your team. There are services that provide more interesting and detailed stats anyway (leetify, iirc). That wouldn't be such a horrible idea tbh, it would definitely somewhat mitigate the cheater problem. -
True, but I'd rather have trading than whatever the fuck that system is. Artificial scarcity through RNG just ain't it.

Yeah, depending on your region pricing can be weird like that. I've seen the same thing happen with the G102/203, which are also the same mouse. Other than the name, there is no difference, compare the specs if you want. -

They are the exact same mouse, I think the G304 is for asian markets and G305 is for western markets. Just get the cheapest one. -
TIL Valorant's skin system is one of the worst out there. The only way to get skins outside of the battle pass is to either buy an overpriced $70+ bundle, which is a limited time "deal" or, once that bundle is gone, to get a skin you like you have to wait for it to appear in one of 4 random slots which refresh once a day. The worst part is that even though it's only 4 slots per day, duplicates are still allowed so you can get the same skin for multiple days in a row. This might actually be worse than CS's loot boxes tbh, at least in that game you can buy the skin you want if you're willing to pay for it on the market.

Don't see much of a point honestly, tactical shooters like valorant are either ruined by aim assist or pretty much unplayable with anything other than a mouse and keyboard. Could be cool for those who have bottom-tier PCs but still want to play valorant, I guess.

Anyone have any experience with 3XL mousepads/deskpads? I've been thinking about getting one recently but can't decide which one,
- Glorious 3XL, probably most widely used but apparently wears out quickly (?)
- Corsair MM500, can't find much info on this
- Gigantus v2 3XL, is good, but it's the most expensive one and has no stitched edges (might be too slow because of the thickness, the large version of it is slow enough at 3mm)
- QcK 3XL, seems good, but again no stitched edges

Yeah, compared to its peak fortnite definitely isn't making as much money as it used to, but quite frankly, I don't think any game can compete with fortnite's peak. My point was that the game is still alive and brings in huge amounts of money to epic games, the only thing that has (at least in my experience) changed is the target audience.

Should you? No, it's a sidegrade at best. If you are really into FPSs, think the shape suits you better or just really like mice, it's up to you entirely. I have both and I like the GPX more, but I wouldn't say it's really worth spending $150 for if you already have a RVU.

I think people are underestimating how popular fortnite still is. Sure, its popularity has plummeted among people over the age of 15 (outside of competitive players), but there are tons of little kids who play fortnite religiously and spend all the money they get on vbucks, perhaps even more than in 2018. Especially the past couple of months with most of the game's content being skins from popular movies/shows/artists, their revenue is as good as ever.

Their recent stuff (from the end of 2019 to now) has been quite solid IMO, but yeah, their older stuff doesn't have the best reputation. Can't think of any G604 lightweight alternatives, most mice like it are way over 100g. You could use a lithium AAA battery with some foil and this should reduce the weight a bit and if you are comfortable with modding, you could potentially reduce the weight even further (but this could also completely ruin the mouse, so I'm not sure if it's worth the risk) The button is good IMO, but the actual wheel is terrible, super loud and 16 steps vs the standard 24. The guys that originally designed the zowie mice have actually left the company and founded vaxee and their mice have the same solid build quality that zowie has. The ones they currently have available are pretty small compared to the Model D, but they are worth a taking a look at if your main issue with zowie is the wheel (they still use the same design, so the wheel is loud, but it is 24 steps which is a pretty big improvement)

Lmao, same. If you like the Model D, but aren't super satisfied with the quality, take a look at the Zowie EC1. It's heavier at 95-ish grams and has a pretty shit scroll wheel, but that thing is solid. (I don't have one, but I do have the smaller EC2 and a few other zowie mice and all are built like tanks) Not sure about the shape, but the Deathadder v2 is also a big ergo mouse and it's like 81g, might be worth checking out if you don't need the extra buttons of the G604.

I know this may sound harsh, but people like them don't just change on their own, especially those that aren't "just" attracted to minors, but have acted on their fantasies. After some serious help from professionals and a few years, they may change, but without psychiatric help there is almost no chance for that. And given reddit's history, I don't think it would be a good idea for them to hire someone with that kind of history, even if they've been to therapy tbh. -

Cancel culture is stupid, but I wouldn't say this is an example of that. If they were cancelled for posting a controversial/edgy post on social media, I'd agree, but this person (at least from the looks of it) defended and covered not one, but two pedos, this isn't just completely immoral, but I'm pretty sure that it is actually illegal too. -
