Low clock speeds + relatively poor IMC performance are really the only drawbacks of Ryzen chips, if AMD manages to mitigate those issues with Zen+ then I strongly believe their CPUs will be better picks over Coffee Lake in 2018

Here's hoping. Though I'm not so sure considering they're shrinking the size... But a size shrink is still good so we will see

@TVwazhere A size shrink theoretically should allow them to increase clock speeds while keeping/lowering the power consumption, we'll see though

@Morgan MLGman a 4.5 ghz Ryzen+ would be so sweet. Would almost make me regret telling my friend to buy that 1800x he found on sale during the Black sales in november/december, but the less he knows the better ;D Thoguh I think I'm still going to have my friends building lower end systems to advance, since the R5 and R3 series of Ryzen +'s would probably launch later in june, and theyre close to being ready to build by feb.
