vladonizer got a reaction from PDifolco in Noctua fan recommendations for Fractal North Mesh
From their website it looks more like half the price, but still does save a lot of money
Edit: Nevermind, I wasn't looking at the 5 packs

vladonizer reacted to Commodus in Looking for 4k TV recommendations!
Now that's a deal... if I'd seen one at that price, I would have bought it out of principle! But yes, it's safe to say the OP can't assume they'll find a (good) OLED set that meets their criteria.

Even with older GPUs you can still do 1440p and 1080p. It looks better than my LG 32" 1440p monitor.
Use https://www.rtings.com/ for response times.

vladonizer reacted to CTR640 in 4k smart TV for gaming
Response time as in pixel response or inputlag? Inputlag has nothing to do with LCD and OLED.
Pixel response is a different story and yes, OLED is much faster than any LCD.
QLED is nothing but marketing bullshit by Scamsung, don't fall in their trap. I'm not sure about the CX in your country but there is the LG C1 65" too. The CX and C1 are very popular amongst gamers. I was about to get the 48C1 but I'm holding off till 42" OLED.

vladonizer reacted to Electronics Wizardy in Best CPU's in the newest sockets?
Both LGA1200 and am4 are current sockets. Intel has a relase with rocket lake at the end of this month.

vladonizer reacted to bellabichon in Best CPU's in the newest sockets?
AMD's latest release is Zen 3 (Ryzen 5000 series) on the B550 and X570 chipsets, and Intel is gearing up to release 11th Gen (Rocket Lake) on the Z590 chipset.

vladonizer reacted to aeffertz in Finished my 1st SFF Build
Case: Cougar QBX
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Impact
CPU: i5-4690k OC to 4.7 GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 AIO w/ Prolima thin 120mm fan
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
GPU: MSI Gaming X GTX 1080 Ti
SSD: PNY 250GB
HDD: WD 1TB
PSU: Enermax Revolution SFX 550W w/ custom sleeved cables.
Wanted a small 4k gaming box. Pretty stoked with how it turned out! Making the cables was tedious as hell but make a huge difference in this tiny case, looks and airflow equally! I want to ditch the HDD and get a 1TB SSD and replace the current SSD with an m.2 drive.

For the slim rad, LLs should be enough.

vladonizer reacted to Slayer3032 in Are Noctua fans really that good?
I've never owned any of the good Corsair fans(nor any of the modern Noctua designs) but the junk stock fans they throw in cases rarely last more than a couple years at most before making tons of noise. I'm sure their Maglev fans are great quality, I don't think the Light Loops are actually their best fan designs but they're pretty damn cool.
My NH-D14's fans lived though 7 1/2 years of being ran at max speed in a fairly dusty room with many years of that exhausting out of the top of an Antec Nine Hundred. That also survived liquid damage which caused the top 200mm fan to explode into pieces a couple months later. That case ate 3 sets of cheaper 120mm's and a couple ATI 5870 blower fans and a full set of fans from my Corsair 450D before I replaced every fan it in along with both of the Noctua fans, only one of which was getting louder. Their Redux line is just their older designs but in grey.
I spent almost twice as much on the fans and Swiftech PWM fan splitter than on the case but that's only because I got the case on an Amazon lightning deal lol

Lian-Li's O11 Dynamic takes the cake for me. It's really nice and I don't think anything can beat it for an ATX chassis

vladonizer got a reaction from TVwazhere in Looking for a new PC case, asking for opinions
Thanks for all the input, I have decided on the pc-011D and will pick up more fans as well as change out my old 280mm aio with (most likely) a 360mm

vladonizer reacted to TVwazhere in Looking for a new PC case, asking for opinions
To springboard off this comment, the P600S has the same internal layout as the Evolv X, and is very similar Spec wise to the Define R6 and S2 (I made a blog post comparing all the features)
Any of the cases you've selected would be great, jsut make sure if you get the PC-O11D than you get a couple of extra fans, as the only fans in your system would be the one on your AIO, so you'll want probably 2 intake fans mounted somewhere. .
-
vladonizer reacted to Fasauceome in Looking for a new PC case, asking for opinions
The enthoo evolv has a nice internal design, and the removable front panel is neat. There are some creative drive mounting spaces of you don't like the drive sleds they use, but not many, so extra 3.5" drives might be unsightly, so I'd rather go for the Lian Like PC-011

vladonizer reacted to Firewrath9 in Looking for a new PC case, asking for opinions
I'd recc meshify C for air/aio, Meshify/Define S2 for smallish-custom loop (1 thicc 360mm + 1 slim 360mm), and PC-O11 for serious custom loop (2x thicc custom loop)

You can always leave it deactivated until you have the funds to buy a code.

vladonizer reacted to Princess Luna in Where to buy windows 10 key codes?
You know that you don't really need a license nowadays, a small watermark on the bottom right and not being able to replace the dekstop wallpaper are pretty much the only consequences.
-
vladonizer reacted to knightslugger in Where to buy windows 10 key codes?
the OEM keys are for geared more for custom builders where THEY are the OEM for a system they sell.
The Retail key is for personal builders like yourself. You can try to call up microsoft and unlist the MB they have on record if you are changing it due to failure.
-
vladonizer reacted to Electronics Wizardy in Where to buy windows 10 key codes?
I mean, thats how software licensing works.
They make the code, they set the rules and prices. There are other options aswell, its just about 100 for a retail copy of win 10.

Agreed. and honestly... download the current W10H ISO from Microsoft. If it's on a disk, it's outdated.
-

If you want a 100% genuine code, getting one from Microsoft direct is the only option.

HEJ! THERE IS AN AWESOME UPDATE! So i contacted the company. they said they can give my contact info to the owner. they checked the sim code thingy, came out it isn't registered to anyone. probably because they already canceled the Card. but i'm working on finding out a lot more.
Over-all, the owner and their phone will be once reunited again.
