  1. Won't the new ASUS board have 12 phase? @ChrisCross
  2. I believe I forgot to mention I'm in the US, and if I'm not mistaken, isn't that a list of all MSI and ASRock x99 boards?
  3. Pretty simple, which board do you guys think would be better for my setup? or are they going to be about the same? Undecided on the cpu yet, but probably going with the 5820k for the godlike, or 6800k for the Ed. 10. http://edgeup.asus.com/2016/05/introducing-rampage-v-edition-10/ The rest of the build GPU: 2 MSI 1080 gaming x SLI PSU: RM850, already have Case: Corsair 400c RAM: Special Edition red top dominators, already have CPU cooler: H115i, have already, but planning a custom CPU loop later Storage: Samsung 1TB ssd This build is for a gaming overkill, and I may decide to go one tier higher on the CPU
  4. I'm going to get 2 MSI 1080s because I love the looks and they will look great in my red and black theme
  5. I'm looking forward more to the plain red LED ones, since they seem so much better then the ones I have now
  6. I bought one from amazon, it is on its way and I am so stoked!! but if you/I'm displeased, on amazon you can return it within 30 days for your money back, which I have done before on a bad ssd
  7. Well I am planning on having 2 MSI 1080s
  8. @bagusnl @Lurick Thanks guys, also do you think it would be worth getting the 6850k instead of the 5930k since the 6850k is more expensive?
  9. I cannot figure out if the 6800k has 40 or 28 lanes. On amazon it says 40, but on this other link they say 28, please help for I was thinking about getting this instead of a 5930k http://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-6800K-Processor-FC-LGA14A-BX80671I76800K/dp/B01FJLA8NI/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1464702509&sr=8-12&keywords=6800k http://www.anandtech.com/show/10337/the-intel-broadwell-e-review-core-i7-6950x-6900k-6850k-and-6800k-tested-up-to-10-cores
  10. @Ryan_Vickers The only GPU I like better as far as looks is the new MSI 1080, and that's just because I love the black/red theme. Considered doing my upcoming build in black and gold actually, but decided I liked the red better
  11. @HydraGaming Looking back I agree, should have been more specific
  12. @HydraGaming I spend most of my time on fps games so I'm thinking with 2 1080s I should be good with the games I play
  13. @SeanAngelo Okay thanks, and I'm planning on 2 for latest titles ultra 100fps
  14. I have a deal where I can get the predator x34 for 999.99, which I was planning on buying along with my next build that I'm holding off on for (probably MSI) gtx 1080s and the intel processors if they come out this summer, but for now all I have as a 970. I have 2 questions, what type of framerate would I have with that res on medium-low quality, and would it be worth the money savings to go ahead and get it?
  15. @Nena360 @MrTiC I've remounted the cooler at least 3 times, last time with new mounting parts from corsair, and I am not adding any more parts for this build because semi soon I am going to build a x99 with two 1080s, but I wanted to make sure that the temps aren't dangerous cause this PC is going to my brother-in-law and I want it to work fine for him for awhile
  16. @Nena360 @Kapono @GreezyJeezy @dragoon20005 It has a H115i on it, and was only going to 1.3v
  17. I have a AMD athlon x4 860k overclocked to 4.0 and load it will get up to 74c, is this safe?
  18. I said that the error is caused by my Asus motherboard and windows 7, and since I wanted 10 anyways I'm just going to put 10 on it and see if it works
  19. http://windowsreport.com/fix-secure-boot-error-asus-bios-screen-kb3133977-update/ Well this helps
  20. @rheyL I can try a new SATA port when I get the drive replaced, And probably get a different operating system for it. This is the error message I am getting. I can go in to the BIOS and see the drive, but when I try to boot off of it from the BIOS it froze Edit: what is all the reasons this can happen?
  21. @positivePXL I do not have a backup, I just reinstall the OS I bought with the first drive every time. So I don't believe it could be a virus
  22. @ShadowCaptain Nothing is a year old and worked for awhile before the original problem CPU: AMD Athlon 860k Quadcore Mobo: Asus Crossblade Ranger CPU coller: Corsair H115i PSU: Corsair RM 850 GPU: Nvidia 970 Case: Air 540 RAM: 16GB Crucial Tactical Tracer
