  1. I am trying to find compatibility for my eATX motherboard on this case. I know it says it doesn't support it, but it's currently sitting in another case that technically says it's unsupportive. To figure this out, can someone give me the exact measurements between bend in the panel where the wiring comes in and the closest motherboard screw?
  2. I would use a mouse to get to the game then use 1-2 controllers to play the games. I would be fine with usb 2 if there wouldn't be any noticeable difference. Do you think there would be any noticeable lag? I do care about this since I want to play some racing games and a couple of online games
  3. I am looking to play on my PC on my TV in the living room. It is not that far, 40ft cord should go from my pc, into the ceiling, and back out above the TV. Will that length work with putting a usb 3.0 hub on the other side for a mouse to start the games and a couple of controllers without noticeable lag?
  4. I didn't realize the D12L was a better cooler
  5. I am working on my next build and am wanting to ditch AIO's and go back to air coolers. I will not be overclocking but would like to have my CPU pretty cool without super high fan speeds. Would the Noctua NH-U12A be good enough for this or would I need to get the NH-U14s? I would prefer the NH-U12A for easier clearance
  6. From their website it looks more like half the price, but still does save a lot of money Edit: Nevermind, I wasn't looking at the 5 packs
  7. I will not really be able to see the fans unless I take the mesh side panel off(using this case: https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/north/north/charcoal-black/ ) I just thought the side intake might work better with 140s and I will of course use a Noctua air cooler on my CPU. I was also planning on setting the curves differently on the fans blowing on the GPU than the cpu. But if the A12's would perform the same, then I guess it doesn't really matter?
  8. Would it be better to do those at the front intakes, maybe NF-A14 for side intake and top exhaust and a NF-S12a for back exhaust since there won't be resistance there?
  9. I am looking at building in this case soon and was planning on using Noctua fans because I've heard they perform great with low noise an I really like the color. I want to occupy every fan mount with the most efficient fan specific for that spot and mesh/filter it may have to pull air through and am looking for recommendations on the specific ones that will work the best for using lower RPMs. If they perform well at quiet levels I am willing to use the stock case fans with the Noctua fans: Just don't know much about them 3x120mm fans in front with for intake 1x120mm fan in back for exhaust 2x(120 or 140)mm fans in top for exhaust 2x(120 or 140)mm fans on side panel for intake
  10. I have recently started playing a couple games online on my PS4 with my friend who plays on a XBOX series S. In game chat is terrible and only work half the time, so I am looking for other options. Can I use an auxiliary splitter on my PS4 headset and have the game audio from my controller and the mic going into my phone for discord or xbox party chat via the app on my phone?
  11. Thanks for the recommendations, those look good
  12. I'm looking for TV recommendations. It will be used for watching movies and casual gaming, so input lag won't matter if it's not the best. I would like it to be a 4k smart TV 65" or bigger. I really don't want to go over $1,000 USD and of course the lower the better. Even though OLED looks amazing, I'm thinking of staying away from it due to believing it would put me over budget. So the better looking LED's will have to do. I don't have to have a smart TV if it saves enough $ or if it will get me a much better display for the money
  13. I am looking for a new pair of headphones to use for gaming. I do not need a headset because I use a separate mic and am looking for something that will clearly be able to hear where noises are coming from(footsteps/voices) and of course want it comfortable. I will not be listening to music and am hoping I can keep it under $100
  14. I was looking at possible 2 x 1TB drives or 1 x 2TB drive
  15. I'm planning a new build and trying to figure out what storage to use in what configuration. I was planning on using a gen 4 m.2's for 2TB of storage. But if you have better recommendations, let me know. Should I use a board and the included PCI E for m.2s? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09K8Z4XNR/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_C0XK7ABTPCYPBHB1JTXF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Or should I save some money on this board and just put the m.2 under the heatsheild? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GLF92GF/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_49SSKJT729J92DP0DSS2
  16. I believe alder lake would work just fine for me because my biggest use cases are gaming and some video editing
  17. In your opinion is the new Intel cpus or and better?
  18. Right now I'm running an Intel 6800k and want to upgrade to something with more cores. I'm between looking for a used 6950x, used xeon cpu or swapping out my motherboard, cpu and ram altogether to the latest chipset. What would you recommend?
  19. Thanks, with that I'll probably use their modem and get a good wifi router. Thanks for the input
  20. I want a fast wifi router and a modem to go with it(because what the internet companies supply always suck) The modem will be connected with a spectrum tv style cable. This is what will be connected to the wifi: 5 security cameras, 1 gaming pc, 2 smart TVs, 1 game system and 4 mobile devices. I would like to stay away from netgear, but I would like it to be compatible with an app to change settings on the router. it will be going into a 1200 sq ft house near the middle of the home.
  21. I don't know if we do, actually. But we back up our systems to a USB drive at the end of every day
  22. I was going to set up multiple users for my works quick books system(right now it's only on one PC) following these steps here: https://www.wizxpert.com/how-to-use-quickbooks-desktop-on-two-computers/ But before I do that, I wanted to make sure that it work work how I need it to. We have 2 separate business's on the main PC(the one we would set up as the server) and the others need to be able to access either one, no matter which on the server currently has pulled up. Will this work?
  23. Will I realistically feel a difference between oled and qled as far as response time? I honestly didn't know that there was a 120hz tv. Right now I can't run it any higher then 60, but I'll probably upgrade my PC next year
  24. Well I don't really have a budget, so I'll definitely put that one on my list to look at. I don't want to spend more then I have to, but I'd I decide it's worth the extra $ I will
  25. I am wanting to make a PC gaming setup in my living room with a big 4k TV. I was hoping a 65", decent response time, and 60 fps. I'm not sure if this exists(I know nothing about TVs) I would like to know yalls opinion on what/which TV or if you have better recommendations for what I want to do
