i am sad that i forgot about this year and missed the sign up and i just got a 4090 too looking like around 25000000 PPD

unfortunately it is still crashing

ok changed it i will gave it a try though i would like to keep it at gen 4 i know there is not much advantage for it right now but i am thinking it would be much more important when direct storage gets use

have not yet one thing i was thinking of doing i will probably give it a try

so i managed to pick up a new ZOTAC 3070 Ti AMP Holo and i have been getting random crashing in call of duty modern warfare, control and some other games and it seems for the most part the game will freeze and then quit only time i had a complete system crash was in half life alyx it had a BSOD with a message saying something about video rendering (i don't remember exactly what it was) i have tried installing the NVIDIA drivers more then once with DDU my PSU is a seasonic px-850 and i have 2 different 8 pin cables going to the gpu cpu is a r9 3900x motherboard is asus strix x570e gaming driver version 471.41 my old gpu is a evga 1070ti and i am not using any raiser card for my gpu (it is plugged right in to the top slot on my motherboard) i am beginning to think this card is DOA if someone has any ideas that would be awesome

i was temped that means i would have one for every work day of the week +1 and if you had one more color i could have a one for every day of the week (hint hint nudge nudge) but i sadly just went with one the black and gold for now maybe i will get some more down the road

rubbing alcohol might work but it also might damage the plastic there is acetone too but i think that would defiantly do some damage panting over the base with spry pant or something would probably be the best way to get rid of it

from what i have heard the 2070 supper is not that much of a upgrade from even a 1070ti (i was looking getting a 2070 supper a couple months back) so if you have a even better card it would be even less

dose your keyboard have a function key lock or something of the sort

i am a little sad my old 550W power supply did not make the list of the dead speaking of that i did get a new one a Seasonic FOCUS px 850 and had my CPU join back in the fun when i did and added about 50000 PPD sadly PG@E had the nice idea of cutting power in some areas do to fire risk so i lost out on i think 5 days of points

power is back so my folding will be back time to get back up the ranks

sadly my ppd has fallen today and will probably be 0 the next day or two unless i go and do it on my laptop somewhere with power i am one of the many affected by the PG&E power cut off here in California i wunder how many folders hare have had there power cut off

Antec BP550 Plus

well i started preparing for folding month and finding out how many PPD i could get so i put my old 750ti in my computer with my 1070ti and my i7 5820k with a overclock and i was getting over 850000 PPD not too far off from 1000000 PPD so i decided to go and see what my laptop will add and it got around 150000 PPD nice that puts me at 1000000 PPD i then went back over to my desktop and found it off i tried turning it on and it would not turn on i did some troubleshooting and it would seem that my 9+ year old custom panted antec 550w power supply is now dead may it rest in peace (i was probably polling around 600w now that i think of it so maybe not my best idea) well time to go shopping i think i will get Seasonic FOCUS Plus gold 850Watt but in the meantime i do have a backup that will work (and i have stopped my CPU from folding to cut back the power usage)

ok well i think it is supper cool and would love to have one i think one thing that is cool about it is that you do not need a lot of space to get a big image it would make a grate party projector to set up and play split screen/multiplayer games and or movie nights with friends and another thing is it just looks cool
