  1. I don't even have the tools to open it let alone the knowledge to even being to repair it lol. But yeah I'd probably leave it for a while.
  2. Yeah I'd rather not have films get corrupted or lose files. Lucky enough I got 2 2TB WD Blues today so that should fine for a while.
  3. Fortunately I'm not using the hard drive. I think I just transferred all the data a while ago. It's not under warranty anymore but could this be repaired by Seagate or someone else or is it permanently damaged?
  4. Hello, just wanting to know if my spare 3TB HDD is safe to put in my UnRaid server. It has 3 SMART cautions according to CrystalDiskInfo. I did a SMART check with SeaTools which failed and a short drive self test which failed at 10%. attached is screenshots of HWINFO and also the results are below [05] Reallocated Sector Count:100/10, Worst: 100 (Data = 137,0) [C5] Current Pending Sector Count:99/Always OK, Worst: 99 (Data = 231,0) [C6] Off-Line Uncorrectable Sector Count:99/Always OK, Worst: 99 (Data = 231,0)
  5. Yeah I think brains and common sense went out the window when I purchased the computer. It's a shame because todays standards I could have built a better, cheaper and fast computer with less hassel than the one I got. I will definitely get them to put in a less maintenance intense coolant just as you said. I just need to learn more about watercooling so future events don't happen. Thanks for the help everyone Linus forums coming in clutch everytime I will report back here if anything else happens.
  6. I purchased the computer a few years ago from Cyberpower. I still have some warranty with them and I have already emailed them. They should rebuild the system for me. I'm no professional with water cooling so I would rather they did it then me putting the wrong stuff in the system or causing more problems than already known. Also thanks for the suggestion, I will ask them to put a different coolant in which hopefully will last a bit longer.
  7. Yeah, I took everything apart. Wasn't actually that hard, Was worried I would spill the coolant everywhere but caught everything with a container and towels. Will still send it back to get it rebuilt and fully cleaned up with the right stuff. Does clear coolant do the same thing or would it be better? I notice that there is stuff as you said blocking the fins. Would it clump up and clog it as the red coolant does. Just wondering?
  8. I took this picture last night. What I don't understand is that why has it been fine the last few days up untill yesterday and the day before. This is the GPU's block and It is caked with what i'm asuming is the mixture they put inside the loop. Never getting coloured liquid anymore. Hoping clear liquid with the right additives will not cause this mess.
  9. I have remounted the CPU block and reappied new paste (a good amount at that) The computer still ramps up to 70+ C. I know the tempreture in the uk is quite hot today (30c) But I feel like there is something wrong with the pump, loop or bios settings. Does anyone know what specific settings I should be using in the bios to control the pump etc. In q fan control the water pump doesn't seem to have any settings .I'm would like to know if the pump is actually circulating fresh liquid through the system.
  10. I was thinking of getting clear coolet of amazon. Corsair branded clear coolent. Not sure if it's any good or if it would do the same as the current coolent. I know the picture says red, It's because the clear coolant is out of stock.
  11. Just unscrewed the CPU Block and there is harldy and thermal paste. Hoping this will fix it.
