Fuck it, its a terrible idea to do this topic. It became just a fanboy war I guess the reason is marketing and many games say "nvidia gameworks" and shit to sell more gpus for nvidia

Vega will most likely compete with the 1080/1080ti If u want high performance gpus wait for vega. Polaris is more of a price/performance

Most games only take advantage of 4 cores or less, these are not good for gaming but i think u will be fine if u dont play cpu intensive games -

Those xeons are excellent for 3d rendering, good for video editing but not so good for gaming because the single core performance is not high. For a workstation, they are excellent -
Thats the same as saying that dont use a 5960x use a pentium because ur graphics card cant use the 5960Xs full potential
