  1. I just told from what seemed logical to me. Nothing of what I said is gauranteed to be correct, keep that in mind. I am no expert, nor shall I ever be (probably). I hope I've at least been of some use
  2. This topic may have some more information on the subject, although I haven't read it myself. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-dual-triple-and-quad-channel-memory-architectures/
  3. If a motherboard were to exist that had 16 channel support at this point, then yes? I'm by no means an expert, but from learning how to build a pc, that is how I asume it works. (For me it explains the 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b naming on most motherboards, dual channel)
  4. Quad channel and Dual channel isn't depended on the type of stick you buy (as far as I am aware), it is rather the way the layout on your motherboard is supported. Quad channel won't do anything for you if you have 2 sticks. Same way as dual channel does nothing for 1 stick.
  5. It shouldn't matter. If I recall, the ram is exactly the same, in timings and everything. One is just packed as two, the other as four. You shouldn't mix different ram though. (different manufacturer, series, speed, etc.) Buying them in 2 just means that in the end you'll have spend a bit more (for the packaging).
  6. If your car got stolen, and the robber sold it to an unknowing person, wouldn't you want your car back?
  7. Didn't they scrap that idea and left it up to developers whether or not their games support it? Also, I believe firestrike may support 3/4 way configs.
  8. If the issue occurs on both monitors, it is most likely your mouse or your system. Attempt using your mouse on a different system and see if it still jitters. (a laptop works fine as well) If it does, attempt using a different surface to move your mouse on. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to find another mouse
  9. It may be due to the recent updates that valve is making to the game. I remember that looking into a smoke would pretty much set your fps to 15 at some point.
  10. yeah there is a rog swift too but they are more expensive. The difference for me is the additional HDMI port that the Asus monitor has. I almost payed an additional €70 for it though
  11. Are you talking about overclocking or settings in games?
  12. I'd like to add the G-sync Asus PG279Q 27" to that list ^^
  13. Before anyone can awnser this question, we will need a bit more on the specifics, such as, but not restricted to; Resolution Personal definition of "Low input lag" G-sync/Freesync/Iwantnosync Curved/Flat
  14. as long as you do not have any personal information on this forum or use a different password, you should not have to worry.
  15. It seems that at 1080p currently any processor will bottleneck a GTX 1080. Any higher and your cpu should not bottleneck a GTX 1080.
  16. To remove your gpu/heatsink, you don't need to be tech savy. Watch some videos on it. It is as easy as counting down from 27. (No idea why i picked 27.) You could also fill up any empty spaces in your case by using some boxes or packing materials. (for example the boxes your components came in)
  17. I had the same issue with my gpu. for some reason amd doesn't want to give your exact gpu. what did work for me was pressing "lookup" in gpu-z. It opened a webpage that had my (almost) exact gpu.
  18. Don't worry. It seems that the EU is preparing to sue google for unfair competition or something with their add programs as well as forcing all android phones to come with googles services.
  19. Good: It is way better than my old desktop Bad: I am still waiting for my new gpu Additional-Bad: I spent way to much on it
  20. You better not turn that thing on inside of your backpack
  21. Please not that these are the only ones that are available for me. (in the Netherlands) I am yet to use the actual G-sync module as I am currently running a 7 year old AMD gpu. (waiting for the EVGA 1080 FTW) I don't know if it will be worth the money.
  22. My mistake yea, they are so similar Well, lets compare the two of them: They are both IPS displays They both have a "claimed" response time of 4ms They both have the same inputs (HDMI 1.4 & DP 1.2) The Asus is 27", coming in at €850 for me. The Acer is 32", coming in at €1.075 for me. I can't recommend either of them as I have not done any research. I myself recently purchased a ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q and have been enjoying it since. (Coming from a 60hz 1080p generic Medion monitor.)
  23. As far as I am currently aware, you are looking at just 2 monitors. Both of them are from Acer. The Acer Predator XB321HK and the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQ.
