  2. Mainly because the driver for those cards works better for those applications, I think
  3. Don't know exactly witch card to choose, but for professional use like CAD etc, I think you should go for the Nvidia Quadro-series

  6. I have an R4 case 3570K with an kuhler 620 v4 cooler His 7870 IceQ with a blower design This mean that almost all heat produced in the case (PSU, CPU and GPU) are expelled directly out of the case The temp in the case never rise more then 1 to 2 C over ambient, even when stressing the cpu and gpu max
  7. Yes, the Nordic countries are similar in many ways. But this is only true for data-infrastructure, Sweden still sucks when it comes to electricy infrastructure. The infrastructure are good but it is owned by a few companies, making the prise to high. Is it the same in Denmark?
  8. ISP usually sucks all over the world. People complains about Swedish ISP also, but if you compare it to most other countries they are pretty good. What Sweden has done is something other counties also should do. Back in the days Televerket (now called Telia Sonera), owned by the government, had a monopoly on everything. They later open the market for other companies, but they were still dependent on Televerket for the infrastructure. This causes problems and the government had to make rules against Televerket, who they owned, to let other companies use the infrastructure. Now the government has created Skanova who own the infrastructure so all ISP can use the infrastructure more equally. It is not perfect because Skanova is still owned by Telia Sonera and the government still own most of Telia. I hope that the next step will be that the government drop the shares in Telia Sonera and only own the infrastructure via Skanova.
  9. We have 25% VAT and it is expensive to have employees here. That is way parts are more expensive here then in the US But we have good internet. I pay 199 kr for 100 mbit thats about 28 dollar
  10. A good antivirus is just one step to prevent virus. Other things to do are * make sure that all your program are up to date, not only windows. Most virus use adobe flash, reader and java today * be carefull of what you click on * disable autoruns for external devices * use a hardwarebased firewall * change to a better dnsserver like opendns
  11. well it is an OEM card from HP and those sometimes need the driver from HP. Now the rest of the system is not HP so make sure that you have backup before trying
  12. You need a SSD, for light gaming you can go 7750 instead. It only use 55w and does not need any extra power conectors
  13. Correct, but if I needed a laptop i would consider a Latitude or Presicion
