2 devices atached to one nas. how to make everything the same ?
TeamTactical replied to givingtnt's topic in Storage Devices
Hey. Not sure if it'll have all the functionality you need, but you could try using software called BittorrentSync which syncs files between computers. The requirements are that both computers must be online to transfer the files and you need to set up folders to be synced. You can set up one-way or two-way syncs, there's a bunch of different settings but I haven't used it in a while so I'll let you explore it for yourself. -
Yeah I had the V6GT for a while and just came across the H55 from a used computer I was given. I tested the V6GT in Prime95 for about 15 minutes and reached about 70c with no noise increase thanks to my 7V power limiters on the fans. I guess I'll see if I can mount the H55 and see if that's an improvement or not. I'm just not sure if I have the mounting hardware required or not.

http://www.corsair.com/en-au/hydro-series-h55-quiet-cpu-cooler http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/v6gt/ Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle and I'd like some advice. I have a 3930k currently running at stock clocks, though I would like some cooling headroom for potential overclocking in the future. I have to choose between the Corsair H55 AIO or the Cooler Master V6GT. I'd like a quiet cooling solution that gives me good temps on this fairly hot chip. I have the 2011 Retention bracket for the V6GT, I'm not sure if I require any additional mounting hardware for the H55. My biggest question overall is, which will give me better temperatures down here in the hot Australian summer, and which is quieter? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Just to clarify I have both sitting in front of me right now with some decent fans available.

I actually like it. Settings for all the major obvious stuff, control panel for the familiarity and the fine tuned settings. That way if you need to fix something and watch some "how to resolve this issue" video on youtube for windows 7 where he uses the control panel, you can still actually do it in windows 10. Think about it.

[Updated] OnePlus 2 To Be Available Without Invite Oct. 12th
TeamTactical replied to Suika's topic in Tech News
I never said that. You're just missing my point. Higher prices means potential oneplus customers may consider other competing costly phones, a prime example being the S6. -

The demand is only high because the price is low, raise the price and you get people buying the S6 instead. They don't want that. -
My 3tb drive just died, I would avoid. Plus, drives more than two terabytes have other complications, so multiples of 2tb drives is good.

Pretty sure this thing never even left the states.

Any way to go straight to Windows 10?
TeamTactical replied to Octavialicious's topic in Storage Devices
I don't know why you guys even bothered to post this here. it's not what the guy's asking for. -
Need help moving windows to a new ssd
TeamTactical replied to garthvater111's topic in Storage Devices
I'm also looking into doing this. Look into cloning the drive you want copied using a cloning tool like this one. http://www.xxclone.com/ That's not what the guy asked for. Sure you can suggest he do so but it isn't a solution for his issue. -
Hope I get to meet Linus at CES 2015.

Two mice with same DPI but different sensitivity?
TeamTactical replied to TeamTactical's topic in Peripherals
I just gave it a go myself and found that I ended up with a sensitivity that was too high anyway. My CS settings were sensitivity of 1.95 (with dodgy 800~ dpi), raw input etc -
Two mice with same DPI but different sensitivity?
TeamTactical replied to TeamTactical's topic in Peripherals
Yeah I reckon it might be the microsoft mouse that's off. But it's annoying as fuck because it's the mouse I've built up my muscle memory on. I think I might just find myself a new sensitivity and start from scratch using this guide -
Two mice with same DPI but different sensitivity?
TeamTactical replied to TeamTactical's topic in Peripherals
Shouldn't they already be the same if they're set to the same values? I'll test it out on some paper, but i'm still confused as to why it's happening at all. -
I've been using my Microsoft Sidewinder mouse for ages and I like it, it's set to 800dpi, but the scroll wheel has disintegrated and it's time for a new mouse. I bought a G700s and really like that mouse too. I use it at 800dpi, but in CS:GO I've noticed when I move each mouse across my mousepad, the G700s completes two full rotations while the Sidewinder (the one I'm used to playing with), only achieves ~1.5 rotations. I think this is the reason my aim has been off when playing with the G700s recently. This issue persists whether I use wired or wireless connectivity for the G700s. I've disabled mouse acceleration, double checked the DPIs, tested and retested but for the life of me I can't figure out what's going on. Does anyone here have any tips on what to do, or how I should proceed? Thanks.

Constant crash / BSOD, how do I all drivers?
TeamTactical replied to TeamTactical's topic in Operating Systems
Scanning with malwarebytes now, is there a difference between malwarebytes and virus software? Dumb question, i've always just relied on malwarebytes and microsoft defender sometimes for defence.- 10 replies

Sweet, thanks for your help. I installed whocrashed and have been using that, unfortunately half of my errors aren't even popping up, but thanks for your input nevertheless!- 10 replies

Not at all. CPU currently running at stock, if anything my GPU's would be underclocked to keep the rig (and my room) cool. Unless MSI afterburner is pulling some sneaky shit on me, everything should be running at stock.- 10 replies
