RoboPrawn1 reacted to hiyayhi in BF4 e sports?
I totally agree but I think there is still a huge FPS following and there are many people like me who just don't play MOBAs. I think CS:GO is a complete flop in terms of competitive considering even source had 160k competitive matches and I think it was because there was no real innovation in CS:GO, I enjoy the game but it doesn't add much over Source or 1.6 and I think that if DICE can introduce something truly new into the FPS category then it will succeed nut if not, it will undoubtedly be a competitive flop.
The same goes for Portal 3 and HL3, if they don't bring something new to the table they will not be rated well.
Just my two cents, I am sorry for ranting and I am quite possibly wrong.

Thats the complete opisite idea. The point of playing comp is gaining objective points. Thats the whole point. Sitting still? No, you dont stop moving.

If you are playing games, 8gb CL9 1600Mhz ram by Corsair, G.Skill, Samsung, and Kingston is fine. I would go with the 3570K and a P8Z77-V LK so you could spend the extra money on other parts if you have a limited budget. If not, I would go with a 4670K + MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming/ Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H / Asus Z87-A board.
Personally I would get an ATX board because you will be able to add another 7970 on it if you wanted to in the future.
I would get a 7970 like a Sapphire Dual-X 7970/ MSI Twin Frozr 3 7970/ HIS IceQ X2 7970 because 7970 have more Vram which will help if you would want to max out all the settings and these cards are great overclockers.
