  1. Yeah, I'm part of that drop. I am probably running at 10-15% of what I was running during Oct. Also, I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to walk into my office Monday morning and it not be 80*F due my monster rig churning away. It's also super quiet >.> I forgot the sound my room made when all fans weren't keeping my i9900k 5ghz below 60*c while running at 100% On the other side, really proud of my custom waterloop. Ran all month w/o issue or qualm.
  2. Awwww yesss, rank 97 broke into the top 100!!!!
  3. Trying to push top 100... so close, but dropped one rank T_T. Ahh well fingers crossed and woo charity! Maybe I'll get lucky and make it. Thank you for shout out yesterday @GOTSpectrum
  4. Hello everyone, I came across Linus tech tips when researching different components of my PC It's my first build in some time and I've been working on the details for about 2 months now, here and there. Goal is to Make a OC Friendly PC, with sufficent cooling, with idea I'll upgrade in about a year. I don't want to leave this 1300 price range. Monitors keyboard mouse, OS I'm not worried about. It's just the tower. (Currently using 1 24" Monitor 2k res ) Right now looking at things that may be better for same buck, but I'd like to think I've cornered my bang for buck. All pricing with Newegg because I'd prefer to buy it all at one retailer PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($239.99 @ Newegg) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg) Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($154.99 @ Newegg) Memory: Mushkin Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung 840 Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($166.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($64.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card ($405.91 @ Newegg) Case: Rosewill BlackHawk ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($71.98 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($16.99 @ Newegg) Total: $1313.80 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
