i7 930 with overclock still can handle anything, ofcource it won't bottleneck hd 7970/r9 280x if x58 motherboard wouldn't be so expensive even now, it would be great for cheap build, i can get i7 930 or 920 for 35eur working, but x58 mobo cost like 100$~ ofcource it's isn't a lot at all, but it may cost less

I had a Core i7 930 overclocked to 3.5 Ghz from 2011 until 2014 .. sold it to my brother in law .. he's still using it with a pair of 7970 .. enough to run him Witcher 3 at 1920x1080 .. he's still happy with it and it's even below i7 980x or 990x

780 still has some re-sell value which will go away soon .. 
 
So if you find a good deal to sell your 780, go ahead and sell it .. otherwise, stick with single 780 until 980Ti is out (Expected this year as per the rumors)

This is my understanding too .. 

Do you want 1TB storage or just 1TB of SSD's? Since RAID 0 will give you more speed but will also cut down the space by half. And if you do intend to run in RAID 0 keep in mind that if one drive fails you lose the data on both drives. 
I don't know your intentions with your system but the speed provided by 1 SSD without RAID 0 is very high, especailly the preformance of the 850 Pro's. 
Also the Pro's are nice, but if you want to spend a bit less money the EVO's are probably a better choice, so you could pick up 3 drives for instance instead of just 2 (and if you have a RAID card I would say go RAID 5, so you ahve extra speed and redundancy)

I have the first generation (Core i7 930) since 2011 .. It's overclocked from 2.8 GHz to 3.8 GHz .. Still rock solid .. 
 
I know it can last me one more year at least .. But I'm craving X99 .. Just to satisfy the geek inside me (and to sell the existing rig while it still has value) .. 
 
 
I would say you can go 4-5 years without an issue .. you will sure need to replace the Video card once at least in this period to keep up with demanding games  ..

GTX 760  = 500W with a +12v rating of at least 30 Amps
SLI GTX 760 = 700W with +12v rating of at least 50 Amps

The amp rating for +12v is the most important thing.
 
For example I ran an EVGA GTX 760 FTW 4GB off of a Corsair CX 430W  PSU with a +12V @ 32Amps) and it ran flawlessly.
 
Soon you will be able to run GTX 880 SLI with a 750W!

You could build a really cheap small PC and connect it to the TV, and then use steam in-home streaming to get your games streamed to the tv

You have a choice of two characters, both are 10 years old kids (a boy and a girl).

I was addicted to WoW back in 2007 then I quit .. I got addicted again on 2011 then I quit again .. for good this time .. WoW needs time-committment for guild activities and raids .. that's not a luxury I have now ..
 
ACIV however is fun without time-committment, I play when I have time .. up to 4-5 hours per day in weekend .. and merely an hour in weekday ..

It looks similar at start .. agree .. but this one is highly focused on sea missions .. once you got to the sea you feel the difference .. might be slightly similar to AC III which had few sea missions too ..

Well, there is no right or wrong here .. it's individual view and people have different tastes ..
