Kitsuni's Achievements

  1. I've been having this problem for years now and anything I think to look for answers I can't find any. In any game that has prerendered cutscenes such as Final Fantasy 14 or Monster Hunter World the audio will be fine at the beginning but will quickly become desync'd even when running at a steady 60 frames. The video doesn't seem to lag or stutter in any noticeable way and the audio isn't distorted or laggy. No matter what settings I choose, it doesn't help it. I keep my drivers up to date. Windows10 Pro (though it did the same in windows7) Intel Core i7 2700K @ 3.50GHz 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz (10-10-10-27) ASUS Maximus IV Extreme-Z 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (previously a gtx570 and gtx780, same thing happened) ASUS Xonar Pheobus (sound card) Kingston ssd boot drive with 2 WD black storage drives
  2. Yeah I do have an old gtx570 lying around but not another system to try the 780 in.
  3. A couple weeks ago I started playing Arma3 again, I don't remember if I noticed the artifacts then but a day or so after I started I updated to latest Nvidia drivers. After, I noticed a LOT of black and white flickering artifacts, not huge ones but like small clusters of pixels and a lot of them. It only happens some of the time and areas like dense forest and on some objects like trees and clouds. Changing the settings haven't helped at all. Then I noticed it in runescape, but only in the games cutscenes. Another issue is Black Desert Online will now randomly make my entire computer seize up. No ctd, no bsod, just completely freeze the monitors. If I have a youtube video playing on the other screen the audio will keep going up to how far the buffer was then it will stop as well, can't move the mouse or anything and have to hard reset. Then on the other hand Skyrim SE has both the flickering artifacts and comp seize (which had zero issues before). I figured at first oh it's the driver. So I updated it again as soon as the next one was out. Didn't fix. Then I rolled back to the one I had previously before I went to Arma3 (372.70) and the issues remain. I tried nuking it from my system and reinstalling, that too did not help. It's not overheating, it's factory overclocked. I've tried looking to see if anyone else has my exact issues and I can't find anything, though my googlefu isn't the greatest. (I'm extremely tired while typing this so please excuse any incoherent rambling...) Update: Tried nuking driver again with guru3d's DDU in safe mode. Still getting some artifacting but not as bad so far and I haven't crashed 'yet'... The card is an ASUS GTX780 DirectCUIIoc.
  4. Because I honestly rather be paranoid than having to wind up later on wishing that I had. And I have a great router (ASUS RT-AC66R) but I don't have any data backup. So untill I'm able to get a drive for backup rather be as safe as possible net-wise. And to Godly, I looked at Comodo before posting this and it claims to have WinX support, but you say it didn't work for you so thats why I'm asking others for all the opinions and stuff before I do anything. =P EDIT: It wasn't Comodo I looked at that said Windows10, it was Glasswire... >.<
  5. I have used Online Armor for many years now but Emisoft have ceased work on it and will cease support for it next year. And even if it wasn't for all the privacy concerns with Windows10 I would still want something other than the Windows Firewall... So any suggestions?
  6. Well.. It's the 13th and it's still up. After one System Broadcast only said "help", my friends and I think maybe the whole thing was a hoax. But we'll see. <.<
  7. I know alot of people don't even use or even remember Xfire, but several of my friends and I have been using it since it came out. Now it seem they're shutting down all of their social services, which im assuming also means the chat client itself. http://social.xfire.com/If you still use it or used to have want to retrieve your videos/screenshots from their servers you still have time to do that. RIP Xfire... https://www.change.org/p/xfire-to-bring-back-the-xfire-client-and-the-classic-website
  8. I downloaded YouTube Center and for a few days it worked perfect, but after Firefox updated youtube wont load videos or the videoplay at all while youtube center is enabled. Is anyone else having this problem? I havent been able to find anything about it.
  9. I've tried all the USB hubs front and back, and the USB is just power so all 3 plugs are needed.
