Thanks this helped a lot. Didn't know they only promised til 2025 for AM5. It makes sense for me to just go with the 5800X3D and then upgrade later on to AM6 platform.

I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 2700 and a RX 6700 XT on a MSI B450 A Pro Mobo. I'm looking to upgrade my CPU (possibly my Mobo if needed). I'm stuck between choosing on the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and the Ryzen 7 7700X. I guess the clear choice is to just go with the 5800X3D if I don't want to upgrade my Mobo and RAM, but I would like some opinions on what you guys think the best choice is? I usually upgrade my CPU or GPU every 4 or 5 years. So would the upgraded platform that the 7700X sits on be a better value over this period of time? Thanks!

Hey all, I'm going to be upgrading my current Ryzen 7 2700 with a Ryzen 7 5800x. I was curious to hear the opinions on whether they think it's worth upgrading my B450 motherboard to B550. I am currently running the MSI B450 A-Pro. Is it worth it for me to upgrade the motherboard when upgrading the CPU? Other then the obvious improvements like PCIe Gen 4 what are the advantages of me upgrading to B550? Thanks!

In the market to upgrade my 1060 to a newer GPU so I can run modern games at Ultra 1920x1080 at minimum 60fps. Reason I'm upgrading is I have a 144hz monitor and wanna utilize getting 144 FPS if I can. I'm deciding between the RTX 2070 and the 5700 XT. I've been reading reviews for different cards on both sides and they seem very even. Any comments?

I've been looking around for some new speakers for my PC as the one I have right now are really old and does not produce that great of a sound. I actually got recommended by my cousin to get the Logitech Z623 and it's currently on sale on amazon for $92. I'm most likely going to end up getting these, but my question is would getting a dedicated amp make the speakers sound better? I'm honestly a noob when it comes to audio so I'm always open for suggestions if you have other speaker options and just advice in general. Thanks!

Alright thanks. I figured it out for some reason my system doesn't like displayport and when I switched the display over to HDMI my post screen started showing and I was able to get into BIOS.

Just today I installed a new mobo, cpu, and ram into an already existing system. When I booted for the first time I saw the mobo logo (Pro series) or whatever and like a windows loading circle underneath it. After that initial boot I never saw that logo again and I can't seem to access bios even when spamming the delete key while its booting up.

Yeah I tried to spam delete, but it just stays black then. Doesn't go to windows so I'm thinking it has something to do with my GPU not displaying BIOS.

Hey so I just installed new RAM CPU and a Mobo and for some reason whenever I start my computer it skips the mobo logo and the post screen. Its all a black screen and my display shows like "display port" on the corner of my monitor like its searching for a input. It skips the windows logo and the loading icon and goes straight into startup. I'm trying to get to my BIOS but when I hit delete before windows starts up the screen stays black but my display doesn't turn off so i'm thinking my GPU just doesn't wanna display the BIOS. Please help! Thanks!

So I have a Ryzen 7 2700 and a MSI B450-A Pro motherboard. I'm looking for RAM and I know i want 16GB, but I need some help with finding the best price to performance in terms of RAM speed. Is the benefits of having 3400 or 3200 MHZ as opposed to 3000 MHZ worth the difference in price? Thanks!
