Black screen with spinning wheel at start up
Texan Mudkip replied to Texan Mudkip's topic in Graphics Cards
i wish I could, I don't have any backups of my data >.< -
Every time I start up my computer, after the Windows logo, the screen will go black with only the cursor and the spinning dot wheel. The only way I've been able to get around this is using my old gpu or my mobo's intergrated graphics. I've uninstalled the drivers (through safe mode), reset my CMOS and of course tried another gpu im not sure what else I can do so any help will be highly appreciated.

I understand, I'm guessing (and hoping) I just blew one of the resettable fuses on the Pi. Only time will tell.- 5 replies

Texan Mudkip replied to Texan Mudkip's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
is it possible that overclocking the HT can cause this? -

It's a 2 stick kit running on a 64-bit system heres a screenshot: http://imgur.com/k6p0ihT looks like it detects the 8 Gigs but isn't using it? -
Hi all, I need some help. My 8GB Kingston Hyper FURY X kit is only showing up as 4GB, I moved which slots the RAM was in to no avail.
