Yeah I get you, but the most important thing is how much joy and satisfaction will the build bring you and that's subjective. I could build him a more powerful PC with the i7 if I picked some random black windowless case, put parts that don't look good at all in there cause it doesn't matter so he can just tuck it under his desk and forget about it but that's not what he desires. All I can do I is send it to him, which I did and I explained him in what ways it can be better and he said he would rather risk not having the benefits of the i7 so he can have the pretty stuff if it won't hinder the performance in games.

Well if he went for the i5 + the AiO i picked he would be able to possibly overclock it more or get better temps, also he would get the superior looks he keeps dreaming about. Personally I might would have went for the i7, probably saved up a bit more, but I have to respect what is important for him and I know he would not really like a giant black thing in his PC overshadowing everything else, I can understand that.

I just can't justify investing €110 more into just hyper-threading, nor can I imagine a latest i5 with some OC being a bottleneck. He plans to buy a 4K monitor for the new computer as they are pretty affordable now.

Not really, we are not Brits, the parts are to be purchased in Austria and PCPartPicker does not cover this country, there is only Germany with diffirent stores and some products I mentioned are not there.

I don't really know what the diffirence between the two is, but the price is virtually the same here and this one is newer so I put it there. PCPartPicker said some, implying not all Z170 boards may need a BIOS update, without providing a list however, so I don't know if it is the case for this one or not. But I can switch it up for a Z270 board I think, that will not be a problem because they are not a lot more expensive.

Don't look at the prices PCPartPicker put there because those are US stores, it comes up to around €1650 where he can buy those things from, in Austria.

Hello, a friend of mine is planning to build a new PC with one goal in mind, to do everything right, in accordance to his vision. The 750W PSU is there to handle any future additions, possibly SLI or watercooling. Currently I put the NZXT X52 in there, it looks a lot better than air coolers and the budget can handle it. PCPartPicker says some Z170 boards might need a BIOS update before using Kaby Lake, though I don't know if that's true for the one I picked or not. Yes, they don't actually sell it so I checked other local stores and they all have it for around 70€ so I would get it there, that's why I said I'm not forced to buy from there only and if there are other better options available at some other reputable local stores, I'm free to go for it.

I'm not planning to OC unless that would boost the power so much I could bot on 2 accounts at once (would need more RAM anyway), since I don't do any other CPU heavy tasks, play only Dota...

Hello, recently I started to get annoyed by the amount of noise my PC is making, mainly because I keep it running overnight (botting in a certain game), putting load on the CPU and as we all know, the Intel reference cooler is, well, loud. So I'm looking for a new solution around 70€, to keep the CPU at healthy temperatures and also as silent as possible, so me and my girlfriend can sleep well. I know the Dark Rock 3 is really good, but I can't compare it with the Kraken X31/41 and Corsair H75 as I have no experience with those, so I thought I would ask you guys what's the best value.

Hello, I was wondering how is it today with phones and RAM, I was looking at the OnePlus X which has 3GB and a 1080p display, but is that enough with some more demanding games and multi-tasking in mind, also looking into the future, or is 4GB in this case really that necessary? Thanks.

Hello there, I got this as a school assignment and I thought I would get the most responses here. It is about spending money on things that don't give you any advantage in free games. Best example of this would be cosmetic items in Dota 2, I think a lot of people here play the game and know how it works, but I will explain it anyway. The game is fully playable for free, but you can buy items that alter your hero's looks/responses/animations for real money, but grant no tactical advantage over the enemy. The question is, do you spend money on cosmetic items, and if you do, how much do you spend on it monthly? I personally play Dota 2 regularly and I also buy items, usually when it's on sale in the Steam store or I get a great deal in the market, though sometimes I buy more expensive stuff, like the new Arcana for example, but it never goes over 25€/month. How about you?

Well, I'm a king, not from flesh and bones, but Wraith King. Everybody calls me cancer, but I'm immortal, so I've got that going for me, which is nice. (Dota 2)

They only get involved if I get below 50% in an exam, which is like never, 50-75% doesn't please them but they are OK with that if it doesn't happen too often and I have the option to fix it with some better grades. A's and B's are completely fine, though I'm expected to have straight A's by the end of the year, especially this year and the 3 years that follow as those greatly affect my chances to get to the uni i want.

I can speak my mother tongue of course, which is Slovak, but I also can speak Czech, English and I'm learning German.
