  1. I think the problem with all of phanteks cases, is the fact they're new to the whole sourcing decent material, I' own the Primo, and the Luxe, and although they're built well and have loads of nice touches, the materials used isn't great. The windows scratch very easily, the catches for the fan filter were awefull, until they updated them ( I went though9 on the primo ) , the fan hubs a crap, ( I've had 2 on the Primo, and am waiting for a 2nd on the Luxe ) A new issue is the pcb for the lights in the Luxe, waiting for a new one. I gave up on the included led's on the Primo, and have installed my own. And the biggest thing is the case creaking, when it warms up and cools down, to the point of my dog sh**ting himself eveytime. You'd think I'd learrn my lesson, but they look great, and support, loads of rads. At leat their Customer service is awesome, they no me by name now.
  2. The problems with the Eisberg were on the first model released. On the new version, everything has apparently been sorted out. I can update you on this in a couple of days, as I've got the new 240mm rad version on order.
  3. I wouldn't trust it to run a full loop mate, it is advertised as upgradable but the pump just won't be up to it. The pump what is in it is basically an Alphacool DDC LT, and isn't great, I bought one to try a few months ago, I had a cpu, and a 360 Monsta rad connected, and it struggled, When it comes to water cooling mate, the bottom line is it isn't cheap, and you do get what you pay for, especially when it comes to pumps, the D5, and DDC are top of the hill for a reason, reliability. Your far better off taking your time, and buying it, bit buy bit. Or even get a kit, but I can guarantee over a few months you would have changed most if not all of that.
  4. This might sound odd, but try turning your fans down. The rads your using are better at a lower rpm with a high static pressure.
  5. You can get 30, 45, 60, and 90 fittings mate, so your covered for any angle needed. if there is one that isn't covered you can get multi angled fittings, with 2 or 3 rotatable joints, so it will give you what you need.
  6. If it's just the thread Teflon tape is the best option mate. Just be sure to put it on the thread the opposite way to the thread.
  7. You need to be very careful in the res diameter and the graphics card length. I'm running a pair of 290X's in my Luxe, and had problems with choosing a res, I had to go for a DDC 150ml Aquacomputer Eco, combo, as it is only 50mm. And even then I had to remove the res bracket, and mount it directly to the front rad.
  8. I'm liking the USB touch, it would be nice to be able to fully monitor it though without having Afterburner running
  9. I'm using, well for now any way, 4 of the white led version on an XSPC AX240, and to be honest I'm not impressed, they are the first Corsair fans I've used, and the last. If I could be bothered Id stick my white Alpenfons back on, since the SP's went on my temps went up by 3 degrees, and considering the weather here in the UK is getting cooler, that isn't right.
  10. If you can hear a splash in the rad, that's trapped air mate, Looking at it it looks to be the same as an Alphacool. I use the Alphacool Monsta a lot and they can be a pain in the arse to bleed, I think it is down the the shape, and size of the end tank. With my front mounted 420 Monsta I made sure I had access to one of the top ports, to add a fill port to, I have a small piece of tube about 3/4 inches long connected all the time, that way I can fill the rad as well as the res, I also keep fluid nearly to the top, and use a stop plug, that way when the air bleeds out the fluid takes it's place. If that isn't an option turn of the pc, and let it cool down for a while, then place it on it's rear, so you can get to the front port without the fluid leaking everywhere. Slowly, very slowly undo the plug then fill it to the rim of the port, it can help to have a 2nd set of hands to help to tip it slightly to get the air gap to come to the open port, so you can fill it with fluid. Then just do the plug back up and turn on. This is only an option if all else fails, but I do it every time now just out of habit, as it save a lot of messing around with trying to bleed, the air out.
  11. You can also get a Monsta 480 up top depending on what motherboard, and ram your using. I had the MSI Z87 MPower, and Avexir core ram, and it fit in mm perfect, although it was very tight getting it past the res bracket.
  12. What I would do would, use the 2nd power supply to power the gpu fully. At least that way it is being powered by one supply, and not two.
  13. The thing is though if they say include 3 extra colours, including the one on the board, that will mean that 3 won't get used, they will cost more to produce and for the end user to buy, it just wouldn't work. The only way would be for them to include decals like Asus do on there gpu's or, allow us to remove them to paint and it not to affect the warranty. Or better still leave everything black, and the heatsinks not fitted, that way we can easily paint them and install them.
  14. To be honest I don't hear mine at all, I run it at %v so that probably helps a lot.
  15. Your only option would be to buy the extensions which take up more room behind your motherboard, or get a custom set for you psu made. I'm sure Pexon could help mate. He is UK based but he ships world wide and his work is awesome, he does the extensions and custom full sets for any make psu, it says Corsair, and Seasonic, on the website, but just drop him a message and he will sort you out mate. http://pexonpcs.co.uk/, he's on facebook also mate, under the same name.
