  1. Hi all, my mum uses the Windows 10 Mail app for her email, and Chrome as her browser. She tends to open apps full screen and hasn't really grasped the idea that you can have different apps running at the same time. When she clicks a link in an email, the page opens in the background. But she doesn't notice the Chrome icon flashing/getting underlined/changing colour so thinks nothing's happened, and clicks again and again. Does anyone know if there's a way to force Chrome to grab the focus and come to the front when the Mail app passes it a new web page link? Thank you :)
  2. There's this one: \Microsoft\Windows\Windows Defender\Windows Defender Cache Maintenance Microsoft Malware Protection Command Line Utility "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -IdleTask -TaskName WdCacheMaintenance Is that the one? I want to be sure before disabling Windows maintencance tasks Any idea what other affects disabling it has? Thank you
  3. Thank you @Naeaes yes version 1703 - build 15063.138
  4. My Win 10 PC has just updated to what I assume is the Creator's update. It now has a shield icon in the system tray with a yellow warning. If I right click the only option is Open - this takes me to a Your Device Is Being Protected window with App And Browser Control showing a warning icon. Clicking this shows that the 'problem' is the Smartscreen is turned off. Is there any way I can get rid of this warning from the system tray? Ideally without losing the ability to have warnings about things that actually matter and I need to be warned about Thank you.
