  1. That's odd. At first I thought I copied the wrong link for the newegg posting. The thumbnail in the search shows 4 sticks of memory, so I thought it was 4 8 gig sticks, but it shows 2 sticks when you view it.
  2. ahh, I did not notice that. Thank you for the help And no, I don't need that much, in fact I've actually already purchased the 16 gig kit, and it's supposed to be delivered today. I was just trying to figure it out because of the email that I'd received. I've been out of the PC component game for a while as I've been using nothing but laptops for personal use for the last 10 or so years, and I think the last time I bought memory (to upgrade what was a pre-built system) I think it was a 486dx

  4. I'm about to attempt my first PC build, and I'm looking at parts online, and I wonder if someone could answer a question for me. I'm looking at g.skill 3200mhz tridentz ddr4 ram and trying to figure out why a 32 gig kit is more than double the price of the 16 gig kit? Some of them are even listed with the same seller offering both kits. Why would you not just get 2 16mhz kits?
