  1. The worst they could see if it was a volume license key with a KMS or similar is some basic information about the computer but in no case can they access your computer unless you install software which allows that.

    Status Update

  3. DNS does not impact ping. DNS takes, for example, google.com and translates it to an IP address. That mapping is then cached locally on your machine for a period of time.
  4. I didn't say that, but there have been dramatic differences between abuse by banning someone from having any exposure to something and taking a different approach where it's not presented as taboo their entire life and then suddenly BAM they have full unrestricted access. See certain countries in Europe where they will let younger people have wine and whatnot compared to alcohol abuse rates in the US.

IDK... I feel like my bidet may be counterfeit

It's hard to tell, is the water warm at least?
  6. Ah yes the old "ban things I don't like" method. Define social media, please, and do it in detail. Should we ban social gatherings in person as well because someone might get hurt? How about we ban text messaging since people can still be attacked that way. While we are at it let's just ban all forms of communication and the internet as a whole because it's been shown nobody can use it responsibly.... OR how about we stop this "ban everything" horse crap and take a holistic approach to addressing the root cause of the damn issue? Because that's complicated and can't be used for political grandstanding. We need easy "wins" for the votes, not actual wins for the people. This law reeks of nonsense, first it's "the parents should be in charge of their children and supervise them" and from the exact same fucking side its now "upload identity verification to a third party website if you want access to websites because the government needs to know you're safe". This will have the same impact as banning other things, it won't work, people will still get access, people will still be exploited, and nothing will change for the better in the end.
  7. Just download the ISO or installer direct from microsoft and make a bootable drive.
  8. Yup, Windows will try to do uninstall of drivers but always good after migration to check installed apps and remove intel stuff there, also go into Device Manager > View > Show hidden devices And then uninstall Intel devices and remove drivers there too.
  9. Try flipping the gateway and IP address? .229 for IP and .230 for gateway It would be odd but maybe.
  10. What is the last digits of the IP? They probably gave you the subnet IP and not the IP you need to put on your router. They should have given you the gateway IP address too.
  11. Check in the BIOS for Memory Context Restore settings and turn it off.
  12. You underestimate my power!!!
  13. Because then you lose electrons by removing it!! It's all part of the plan
  14. Yes it's completely fine. The second one that's 4-pin only is optional.
  15. That is definitely not something I've experienced across any of my devices. That definitely sounds like a virus or something. Edit: Seems to be a new "feature" that's rolling out.
  16. Did you try one peripheral at a time? Sounds like one of them is causing issues and if you move them all between computers the issue won't go away but this is almost certainly not a virus or anything of the sort.

Looking at the housing market really has me con…

Wait, there is a housing market?!?! I thought it was all corporations, glory to them, which leased us poors houses at wonderful prices!! /s Edit: Forgot to add serious talking points. Housing market sucks completely across the board which is really rough. Sure there are some places but usually it's miles from anywhere out in the middle of empty land or in super small towns with little to offer in some circumstances.
  21. Put them all in the same VRF on the ASR1K (obviously this kind of defeats the point) or do route leaking between each VRF on the ASR1K
  22. 1) Your router is gigabit only, you'll NEVER get more than that to the internet without a multi-gigabit router (one with a 2.5Gb WAN port at least) and having an ISP device that supports 2.5GbE ports as well. 2) The router you have is WiFi 6, it's not WiFi 6E which is where you get 6GHz connectivity, you'll NEVER see a 6GHz SSID because the router you mentioned doesn't have the ability to broadcast on 6GHz. Edit: Assuming this is your router: https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/routers/rax43/
  23. Yes you can, I've got and had several cyberpower UPS models and did the same thing for local access.
  24. What does Plex have to do with this? If you have a local plex server then internet doesn't mean squat.
